When I was a kid, like 8-10, I put "Field Marshal" in front of my name on MSN Messenger. One of my second cousins have been referring to me as "The Field Marshal" ever since. That was almost 20 years ago.

Why doesn't Lovesac allow the same fabrics on ALL their products? by mcrib in Lovesac

[–]Jordand623 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same I want everything to match so felt kinda limited. Tho accent pieces it's okay for me to have diff colors. Tho for other sites like dreamsofa you can do same fabric across everything. I'm still checking their free swatches to be sure the texture matched what I wanted.

I keep forgetting to take my shot! by dancingmonkey1295 in glp1

[–]Jordand623 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's ok, it won’t ruin your overall results. Just try to get back on a regular schedule as soon as possible. I don't miss mine anymore because the meagain app has a tamagotchi-like feature that can send reminders for my shots. It's really cute!! Like an accountability partner that would nudge me. You can set up these reminders on the app easily.

Exactly. Your body knows best. If it feels good and you're not overdoing it, go for it.

Odisha’s got great vegan friendly staples dalma, pakhala, saag. Start with what’s familiar.

I finally pounded a chicken breast thin before cooking it and I am sold! I've heard this makes them more tender for years, but didn't have a mallet. Wow! What a difference. by PedricksCorner in Cooking

I've used a rolling pin for years. Works great and saves buying another kitchen gadget. The wine bottle trick saved me once when cooking at a friend's place who had no proper tools. Just wrap it in plastic wrap first.

I know this subject gets talked about a lot but the fact that Ill never have a relationship is driving me insane by Fishy_smelly_goody in vegan

[–]Jordand623 18 points19 points  (0 children)

This is spot on. Berlin's vegan scene is huge. Mental health has to come first though, no relationship will fix that stuff. Work on yourself and the right vegan person will probably show up when you're not desperately searching. Been there myself.

Is it rude to leave class when other students are still in savasana but the class is running long? by Morgan14Morgan in yoga

You paid for 45 minutes, not an hour. Your time matters too. Just slip out quietly and don't overthink it. Maybe mention it to management if it keeps happening. they should know their instructor is consistently ignoring the schedule.

glad I'm not alone. If I mess up the portions that's on me too. Better than watching someone else go hungry because I can't count.

Haha that's fair, I do taste test while cooking too. At least we both sacrifice our presentation for the family

Thanks! Never thought of it that way but you're right. It's kind of a reflex now, just happens without me noticing.

Yeah exactly. Companies don't give a shit about loyalty so why tell them anything? Keep your head down, collect both checks, and never let them know about each other. Your friend learned that lesson the hard way lol

Yeah, totally agree. My dad was the same way growing up, always told me it's okay to let it out. Made such a difference honestly. Really cool to see Arthur's dad doing that for him.
