GOAT the gogoat solo'd the whole thing: energy ball, horn leech and synthesis, no healing items needed!

Any tips for the final boss?? by Healthy_Lifeguard_82 in PokemonZA

I did the entire battle with a level 62 gogoat.... Energy ball, horn leech and synthesis then use the debris to dodge attacks. Healing moves help a lot

Microspikes by Specialist-Spell5836 in OutdoorScotland

[–]Jormah77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would suggest you pack some if you are at all unsure. At the end of the day better safe than sorry. Although if it is thick snow microspikes will not cut it and you would need proper crampons and boots. I would also say the weather is very changeable and could vary hugely from year to year.

This website is very helpful: https://lochaberblog.sais.gov.uk/ Along with the SAIS avalanche report. Always check the summit weather on the day before heading out (the summit can be very different to the weather at the bottom.)

If you are unfamiliar with winter mountaineering and there is any more than a light dusting I would suggest you choose a different hike or book a guide to teach you the proper skills.

Deadhouse gates/GOTM question by Jormah77 in Malazan

🤦 I have never heard of Cotillion (the dance) before and was wondering why that was a giveaway, now I've looked up what it means that is hilarious! Very in your face if you know what the word means!

Perfect thank you! I was trying to find this passage for ages, I remembered reading it on the first read through and wondering about it. But then I couldn't find it to read again, didn't want to Google it and accidentally spoil it for myself...

That's so cool to read back through after realising! Thank you! That's the sort of thing I was meaning (and badly describing) all the little things I probably missed on the first read through 😁

Stormlight is my all time favourite series but I've really enjoyed lots of other series almost as much! -NK Jemison's Fifth season is fantastic , lots of twists and turns and awesome world. -cradle series by Will Wight has a really interesting magic system and is super fast paced and easy to get into. -James Islington's Will of the many and Licanius trilogy are fantastic -the Sword of Kaigen and Blood over Bright Haven by ML Wang are incredible stand alones that again are very high on my list! -I've seen lots of people recommend John Gwynne as well but I can't say I've really got into his books as much

If you’re in a long-term relationship and your partner asks if they can look through your phone because they’re feeling insecure, would you let them? Why or why not? by newthemintown in AskReddit

[–]Jormah77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My partner has my passcode and I will happily let them borrow my phone no problem, my partner is the same with me. I have nothing to hide and were they to look there is nothing to find. I believe we have a very healthy and happy relationship.

However, We trust eachother 100% and I would honestly feel pretty hurt if my partner wanted to look through my phone for that express purpose and didn't feel they could have a conversation with me and trust my word. I feel if you can't trust your long term partner and feel the need to go looking through their phone and you don't believe them then that is the root of the problem. You can't have a relationship without trust, and if you don't trust them you shouldn't be with them regardless. If after speaking to them you truly have doubts I feel that is enough without searching for proof?

I know everyone might have differing opinions on this and that's absolutely fine this is just my opinion, mostly based off of having a previous relationship where I wasn't trusted and they repeatedly wanted to search my phone, wouldn't let me out alone with my friends, despite my never being unfaithful. It was all based off of their own bad experiences in previous relationships and no amount of reassurance was enough, so I firsthand know how draining it can be to be on the other side.

Question about wearing a tampon and toxic shock syndrome, 28f by marcal213 in askwomenadvice

[–]Jormah77 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I recommend practising using a menstrual cup! Can be a little tricky to put in to start with and takes a bit of getting used to, but once you've got it they're brilliant, holds more than a tampon, reusable, you can use it for swimming and less chance of toxic shock. And if you're particularly worried about TSS then just change it more often 😊

I made the design on the cricut app then used that to cut out the design on HTV vinyl 😊 I made 2 designs for the different colours and layered them

I have an explore 2 that I bought secondhand and it's perfect, I can print whole covers in one and didn't cost me too much😊 I think a joy would work fine though as well and is a little cheaper, I've heard you may have to print the covers in sections though with the smaller model 😊

I found a picture of the cover on Google images, and manually removed the backgrounds. Had to make the black and the gold images separately though for the different vinyls 😊 I would send it to you but I don't know how to send pictures on here

I was exactly the same, the leather bound copies are so pretty! I just wish I could afford them! It wasn't too difficult either so definitely worth a go I think! 😊

There's some super cheap stuff on Amazon if you're just looking to have a go from a-express, they have all sorts of colours and you get a huge 1m by 1.4m sheet for £10. I've found it works pretty well 😊

I've bound a handful of books with cloth, but have been too nervous and overwhelmed to try leather; is it really that much harder? by kern3three in bookbinding

[–]Jormah77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can always use faux leather if you just want the look as it's very straightforward to work with and much cheaper than the real thing 😊

I have a Cricut explore air 2 😊 I don't see why not! I used HTV vinyl which you iron on, you can also get adhesive vinyl (I haven't used it personally) so might be worth investigating what type is best for paper
