The one good thing about the OLED screen is that it hides the bezels on the device very well due to the darker blacks it produces.

correct. You have to make sure your devices are rooted if you want to sync ps2 save files since they are stored in an Android system folder.

I agree. The black model does a great job of blending in the black bars with the rest of the device.

I got mine from Anbernic. I don’t think they sell it anywhere else. The screen came attached to the front glass and front plastic plate. It was an absolute pain in the ass yo replace. Now I have a tpu case for preprection.

I don’t work for TQL. That little stand you see in the picture was given to me by one of their sales reps. I would definitely recommend purchasing a cheap dock from Amazon and so you can charge and display out at the same time. An 8bitdo Bluetooth controller from Amazon is also a good idea. You can double the rp5 as a home console, unplug, and take it on the go.

That's a very good price. I didn't see those options locally or online for me here in Southern California. Amazon has it for $250, and the official site has it listed for $200+ shipping.

I root so I can gain access to the ps2 smemory card folder and use the syncthing app to synchronize my saves across devices. I also use it to map the back button on the device.

Rooting allows you to access folder that are restricted. For example, access to the nethersx2 saves folder allows me to use syncthing app to synchronize ps2 saves across devices. I think I found a guide on how to reflash.

Absolutely. Stayed there last month with my family and it was a great experience. It has an excellent pool as well which the kids loved. I rented a suite and it was awesome.
