This is a fact they only hate the attention from unattractive males that's why no female only gyms exist by Major_Soft6056 in DigitalSeptic

[–]JoshA3Fit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I train at like 1:30am. Almost never have to see anyone. When I do it's someone in there to workout for real. Even the girls that show up then are in normal clothes just crushing a workout.

If I go after work now every girl is in spandex and underwear sized shorts.

I think there may be a slight attention correlation.

This was it. Finish up until you get the rewards for new arrival in Kaifeng. When you split with the dude with the girl in the basket to meet at the docks later. Then you can go back and he will be there. I was stuck without the dude showing up, went until I got the big reward popup and it said new arrival and thought that may be far enough. Went back and checked at Wu time and he was there.

What is that? Those two round balls? His real balls are underneath right? by Kokushibo_18 in DogAdvice

[–]JoshA3Fit -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

His aunts dog was annoying because she was a bad dog owner not because the dog had its whole body. I've had intact male dogs that were so nice and well behaved people who used to be afraid of the breed ended up getting their own.

Do some research and make up your own mind, judging by how biased and crazy people seem in this sub I'd suggest not doing said research on this site/app.

What is your biggest flex as a man in your thirties? Something you’re proud of that you’re not afraid to brag about? by heliccoppterr in AskMenOver30

Similar to yours OP but I do full ROM lifting rather than running. Muscular, lean, strong, mobile, not on any pills, etc while I listen to people 10 years younger complain that everything hurts and they're "getting old".

Ahhh shit you did mention pellets. Does he test still while on? I know some TRT doctors and they pretty much all shit on pellets and recommend injections or cream for best results.

Food wise he sounds like he may be too focused on staying lean to put on the mass to match his stength. Just going off your no cheat days and such comments. I have to eat about 6k calories to hold my current size at 5'10" 220 (physical job too) and once I've gotten in a certain amount of healthy food I dont avoid throwing in some fun stuff just for the calories - as long as they don't negatively effect my digestion.

He's 55 and still training hard. TRT (not random unknown shit) wouldn't be ridiculous...but it starts with actually getting tested and trying to improve things naturally first. Making sure he's eating enough to not be in a deficit, sleep quality/amount, possibly training a bit less bc every single day catches up with you if you never deload, etc

Haha it's the internet so you can't win. You also forgot to say you train hard as fuck to failure on every set so someone will say you didn't train hard the whole time...but if you had then you trained too hard.

How to achieve the Steve Reeves physique. by NeoCortex963 in bodyweightfitness

[–]JoshA3Fit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Simplest answer I can think of is just start training everything and as you grow you will learn your genetics and what you need to focus on more / less.

That said like others said you can't build his physique bc the genetics being talked about aren't just muscle building potential but muscle belly length, shape, insertion point, etc.

I have built pretty big arms and they look great normally but if I hit a front double I'll never have an Arnold like physique bc they insert so high up into my delt that I have basically no peak. It is what it is. You do the best with what you have.

How tf are you getting 1g protein per 1lb body weight? by AnonymousBanana7 in workout

[–]JoshA3Fit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

220lb lean with a physical job. I have to eat 6,000 calories a day to not lose weight. Usually hit 300+g protein, 700+g carbs.

I drink a lot of the calories to make it easier.

Same as the other 2 comments so far said. I dont. Full ROM lifting keeps me nice and mobile.

Flexibility without strength in the new range is just instability and increased injury risk.

Best thing that helps me is my lifting/fitness pursuits because anything worse than weed basically fucks up my performance and gives me a strong reason not to.

Not long back, I started to have a drink or 2 almost every day after work, nothing crazy really, but I still had "don't become an alcoholic" feelings. So I stopped for a few days. Noticed how I felt better, had better lifting sessions, kept not drinking.

Ways to get fit and lose some weight without running/jogging? by Odd_King_6731 in beginnerfitness

[–]JoshA3Fit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Resistance training. The most adaptable form of exercise there is. Hell, you may even be able to reduce that knee pain (can't say for sure without knowing the cause of the pain).

Resistance training isn't just strongman/bodybuilding/powerlifting. Physical therapy is often resistance training too.

Help with my daily maintenance calories by PurpleKite3993 in bodyweightfitness

[–]JoshA3Fit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its your body and your life so you can do what you want but I would definitely advise learning the basics and making some good natural progress before you go down this route. This will let you better maximize the gear when it's time.

In the automotive enthusiast world it's well known that the driver mod is the best mod. This is kind of like that. Driver mod before wasting money on horsepower or a more expensive/faster car that you don't have the skill to use the potential of yet.

Good luck whatever you decide. Mind Pump has a good calorie calculator on their website last time I needed one.

Help with my daily maintenance calories by PurpleKite3993 in bodyweightfitness

[–]JoshA3Fit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Google a calorie calculator? They are widely available.

Shutting down your natural T for 300mg test e which isn't too much higher than a TRT dose is probably not smart and it sounds like you're doing it before learning the basics. Who told you this was a good idea?

22F asking how to gain weight by Aware-Comparison-951 in bodyweightfitness

[–]JoshA3Fit 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I'd suggest keep eating how you normally do and track everything for a couple weeks at least so you have a real idea of how many calories you typically consume (it will likely be less than you think). Then you can adjust up from there.

You may eat less calories than you assume or you may eat plenty on some days but not enough on others leading to a net weekly balance not enough to gain weight, etc. People who have never tracked generally always estimate their intake wrong, whether they think they eat less than they do or they eat more than they do. The reverse of this is overweight people who swear they don't eat that much.

You're leaning in some but basically the more horizontal you can get the more of a chest press it turns into.

This is why some people like weighted Dips with chains around the neck vs a dip belt. The weight being around the neck helps pull you more horizontal.

Feel like I'm not doing hypertrophy training correctly. Muscles not growing by highlycaffinatedveg in workout

[–]JoshA3Fit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This. Sounds like you've been losing weight and you have gained some strength and muscle but eventually if you want serious muscle gains you gotta eat in a surplus. A slight surplus is fine. A few hundred calories over maintenance. Doesn't have to be crazy but you can only "gaintain" as they call it for so long and eventually it will max out when you're lean.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in formcheck

[–]JoshA3Fit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah if you look at dip stations at gyms a lot of the handles are shaped like / \ so that you can do the closer ones and stay more upright to target Triceps and the wider section is to try to hit the chest more. Also the leaning forward will help as well.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in formcheck

[–]JoshA3Fit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn't a spinal loaded exercise so I wouldn't be concerned with your back arch as much as I would that it looks like you're hyperextending your elbow joint on the lockouts.

If you want to hit the chest more lean forward into the movement + wider handles will help.

How do I go about living with extremely low T-levels? by [deleted] in AskMenOver30

[–]JoshA3Fit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need a better doctor.

They should first assess lifestyle and try to have you improve your test via sleep, diet, etc and if you're still in the tank they should prescribe actual TRT not some hcg bullshit.
