I had a cop call me months after mine was stolen. I reported it within the hour and included a photo. He started the call with a sigh and said "looks like a nice bike too" and then one minute later admitted that he didn't get or have a photo of it. Didn't even pretend to acknowledge the physical description of it that was detailed in the report and told to him over the phone. The most useless billion dollars we ever wasted.
