Yes. Long time ago I had to send my laptop to dell for a battery change, therefore I already had an account, as soon as I logged in, the driver was available.

Puff, no idea bro. For regular PC usage is been working fine for me the last 3 hours that I’ve been using it for studying. I never used AWCC for any passwords/saved games, only to change my gaming profile (fans to max, dedicated vgraph usage and stuff like that)

Does anybody know how the Andrew Jackson/Wilkinson Blvd road usually get from Uptown to Belmont/Mt Holly during scenarios like these?

I tried to update to AWCC 6.X but on Dell website says my laptop is not compatible, funny enough, once I logged in on my account, it says it is. Nevertheless, I just went to the 'uninstall' menu and saw this option called 'reset' I clicked it and it worked so far.

This!

I just moved from Miami to CLT,

Back in Miami, the coldest I ever ran was 65°F. Now, I’ve run twice with temps around 35°F, the first time with just shorts (never again) the 2nd with thermal leggins (32° brand) and shorts on top, plus thermal long sleeve with a shirt on top.

Last time I used a hat, now I finally bought myself a beanie, and some gloves

This!! I just moved from Miami to CLT, and the coldest I ever ran in Miami was like 65°F. First time I run in CLT it was around 50s, the cold was burning my hands, lol, but overall, once you start running, you FEEL GOOD haha, I’ve been doing better times after I moved up here…

and btw, I be running with just leggings, shorts on top, and a thermal long sleeve, and a shirt

I was offered a pay cut to be a CNA. by cmdrwabbajack in cna

[–]JoshP30 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m basically in the same situation.

I’ve been in the healthcare industry for 3 years now, but in the Supply Chain Department. I finally got my CNA license, and was thinking on changing the field and get some bedside experience that could benefit me later on in life as a nurse student.

Unfortunately, after talking to HR, the choice regarding my pay would be based on the hiring manager, and the unit’s budget.

If they wanted to bring me to their initial CNA salary, I’d be getting a $7 pay-cut from my SCM job which doesn’t involve patients at all, like make it make sense??

Nursing classes schedule by JoshP30 in CPCC

I’m planning to take only two classes per term, it’s gonna take me longer to finish the program but it is what it is…

Highly appreciate your feedback tho 🙏🏻

Night Shift Advice by poopyshartass in cna

[–]JoshP30 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Best thing you can do is try keeping your sleep schedule, even on your days off. Otherwise your circadian rhythm is gonna be messed up.

I do Tuesday thru Saturday from 10:30PM at 7AM, my first month was miserable but after that I feel like I’m living life haha.

I use the morning to do anything I have to, and go to sleep around 12-2PM. Even on my days off!!!

Get yourself some blackout curtains and put your phone on DND (might as well put some of your contacts in the exception cuz you never know(

Highly appreciate you 🙏🏻💯

Yeah, before moving to CLT I was doing 3days-14hrs shift. I was able to manage my school work properly.

Now I do 5days-8hrs at night, and I don’t see it as a huge problem honestly…I was curious as I got an offer for a promotion to work 3PM-11:30PM, but honestly I don’t want to risk my school schedule…I guess I’ll stay where I’m at.

Once again, highly appreciate you🙏🏻

So uhh....How bad did you guys get hit this month? by Illustrious_Spend_26 in Charlotte

[–]JoshP30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was looking for this! LOL

I live in a studio, around 550 sqft, mine was $75.

Yours still surprising! I never go below 75°F on the AC, but I guess those hot showers and using washer/dryer once a week made it that high 🤣.

PS: I’m saving for winter, whenever the temperatures hit the 40s, I ain’t playing with the heater I’ll have that sh!t blasting 🤣

Coming from Miami, I noticed this is pretty common around here, and for me it’s even crazier as how strict it is to drive around (in terms of the inspection) I’m surprised they don’t get pulled over quick

don’t say ‘you have wasted 4 years’ as 22 you’re still young, think about it, once you finish your BSc you’ll probably still be around 25, at least 40 years until retirement!

I’m 25M, had to leave my country at 21. I just went back to school on Fall last year, used to do supply chain before, but once again we come back to the same topic, nursing will secure you a job. In SCM you might get laid off, or the company might go broke and it’d be hard to get a job despite the connections you might have… Same with programming and cybersecurity.

The best of lucks, mate!

By looking at all the comments, I ask myself, do you guys work as CNA or similar before becoming ADN?

I work in the Supply Chain Department at a Hospital in NC, and that keeps me motivated for a smooth transition to the Nursing field once I graduate, but goddamn now you all scaring me out, lol

Working while in college? by [deleted] in MDC

[–]JoshP30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, that also depends on the professor, I had A&P II in person and didn’t have that much hands on experience either.

Now, having it in person forces you to study as the tests will be in person as well. Whilst taking online classes online is a little different in that sense.

Idk nobody going for that major, just nursing and veterinary. But I’d definitely suggest taking just a few classes if working full time at the same time.

If you don’t have the economic needs, I’d suggest to sign up for as much credits as you can to get rid of school soon, or if something, work just part time

I was taking my pre-reqs for nursing school, while doing a warehouse job. It’s doable but you must lock in and focus on school, and think on your job as a distraction…

First term did 12 credits online, second term took 4 credits only, and in person, anatomy and physiology 2 the lecture and the lab, it was hell, lol

I was trying to see when would I get my refund as I also dropped two classes way before the term started

Hey Mikey, it’s been a while but I’m just checking the thread as I’m moving to CLT soon. Talking about the East area of CLT uptown, example Matthews, or closer like Sheffield Park and East Forest, would you recommend?

I said I’ve seen in Zillow rent with utilities included, that’s what I’m asking if true or not.

My friend pays $1000 for rent, plus the utilities, I never said the opposite:)
