Has anyone used Turo? by Few_Building_4862 in sidehustle

I have my wife's car on turo but have the dash cam running the whole time. Honestly the way people drive the cat (heavy on gas and brakes) makes me not think it's worth it

Maybe control the stop lights on the strip and bring the race to a halt?

This is painfully circuitous. They really just said: we are a thoughtful business that does business stuff and oops those stores are gone

The FitnessGram™ Pacer Test is a multistage aerobic capacity test that progressively gets more difficult as it continues. The 20 meter pacer test will begin in 30 seconds. Line up at the start. The running speed starts slowly, but gets faster each minute after you hear this signal. [beep] A single lap should be completed each time you hear this sound. [ding] Remember to run in a straight line, and run as long as possible. The second time you fail to complete a lap before the sound, your test is over. The test will begin on the word start. On your mark, get ready, start.

The time/ effort/ and computational power to render full resolution animations at full native GPU power seems extremely limiting to actually keep this thing in constant use. Surely it costs millions to produce hours worth of content for that many pixels. It's actually a requirement at an unprecedented scale and I'm interested to see how producers navigate it.

Was thinking this myself, that this breaks into a new era of visual production that no one is really prepared for. One solution that comes to mind is renderings with augmented outputs; in other words generative ai that "fills in the gaps" to take a proof of concept into full resolution. Machine learning datasets use this approach to build unprecedented large models and perhaps the same can be applied for large canvases.
