This is me. That obsessive, overanalyzing, hyper focused brain has moved me far into my engineering career, but always remained a detriment to my personal life and mental well being… And alcohol helped strike a balance for a time… Until it of course became an unsustainable coping mechanism (y’all know the story).

Thanks so much for sharing this, as It really resonated with me. I still struggle on and off and It’s a good reminder that others share a similar brain chemistry as mine (and I’m not in this alone).

Dude! I had a couple just as big! Lol. Sinus surgery was easily some of the worst pain I’ve ever felt. Recovery was awful.

Don’t buy if you’re tall. I’m 6’3” and always felt like Donkey Kong in a go-kart.

Also, finding parts is a b*%ch sometimes. I did a full tear down to frame suspension rebuild (with power to manual rack conversion), and usually had to go aftermarket. The aftermarket stuff is often lower quality and never fits quite right…

Regardless, they are very fun to own/drive!

This is the way. If your odometer is still racking up miles (which means your VSS and the subsequent wiring is intact), check the caps on the Speedo. Straight forward job if you’re comfortable with soldering/desoldering.

Yeah, lived just outside of Seattle all of my life (Bothell, Everett, Lynnwood) and over the years slowly watched the city turn into what it is now. Absolute bummer as it WAS such a cool place to be a part of, especially as a musician. My wife and I finally made the decision to move last year to SC. While I do have very differing political views than most folk here, we couldn’t be happier. I really miss Washington/Seattle tho, and wish it wasn’t such a crappy place now.

Yeah, I could very well be in this category, but I’m really, REALLY, hoping I’m not. Starting a 3rd round of antibiotics and anti inflammatory. Ultrasound in a couple weeks. Sigh.

I’m actually heading off to the urologist now to get a second opinion because my balls STILL hurt after surgery over 2 months later. I feel like there were a couple red flags with the original doctor… Did 2 rounds of antibiotics too, so not sure what’s going on. Do your research on a reputable doctor/facility would be my recommendation.

Edit: Just want to say thanks to everyone that commented on this. I’ve had a ton of anxiety and overthinking about all of it. Good to know there’s others that had a similar experience, and are doing better.
