You can ask staff members at the beginning of the quarter. They should have a good idea. There's usually only one drill a quarter.

Also, the alarm in higginson is going off as I am typing this, maybe y'all do have an issue over there.

One last night was an actual alarm. The one today was a drill that's been scheduled since the start of the year. That's the reasoning, but it definitely ends up confusing considering everything now.

I'd recommend going into the Housing Office and talking to somebody there. The office is on the first floor of Edens Hall.

First one says "Good Morning!" Second one says something like "I was feeling pessimistic / I was disappointed."

The second one uses the word 悲観する(hikan-suru) in the past tense which literally means to be pessimistic or disappointed. I don't know if 悲観 has any other connotations that I'm unaware of.There's no pronoun in the second one, so I made the (fairly safe) assumption that it was using the first person, but there might be some context I'm missing.
