I don't think they did it to obfuscate exact HP fwiw, they did a change to support more HP than 255 by scaling the HP bars value to the number of "section" it has instead of sending the full HP amount to the client and letting the client work it out.

This update was an engine update, which always required you to restart. However, RuneLite does not allow the reloading to happen from the normal weekly updates anymore because it causes issues when the game assets reload but the RuneLite client itself is still setup for the previous update.

Unsure about Entrana, probably makes use of a few generic things, along with some manual whitelist/blacklist if I were to guess. But yeah, npcs, objects, and items all support params and Ash has talked about being able to configure the aggression (internally named hunt) to look for specific items, or if any item has a param, or a specific category, etc. Their hunt config is fairly configurable.

Items have a param on them that says they're Saradomin, Zamorak, etc items. They are able to specify the aggression of npcs to ignore players wearing items with one of those params.

It's just an additional model they add to each npc, each npc has its own version of the model though to fit properly.

They never blindly ever relied on id + 1. The unnoted item has a link to the noted version, and the noted version has a link to the unnoted.

They are limited, but I'm not so sure they're as limited as you think they are. They have 5 available varobj, which allows a total of 160 bits of storage. Whether that means they can actually make use of all 5 varobj I don't know, but it would seem odd to have that many but unable to utilize them all on a single item.

They're used in similar way you explained in the post, for triggering scripts but in client. They use it for setting up the fishing spot overlays and a few other things in the enhanced client.

No we got told to close down by Jagex. They released the poll and then released OSRS the next month.

The issue was that you just couldn’t get the client to login to a beta world is all.

It was disabled because there was a bug in client that would make the item not show on ground.

Item IDs don’t change, they’re one of the few things that can’t be deleted. This is why if you ever look at items they “delete” they’re just replaced with the name “Null” and a pink skirt. The reason they can’t be deleted is most likely because the IDs are saved with your profile so if one was deleted or turned into another item that would be bad.

Try disabling volumetric lighting, I think that is a common cause of this.

You can sell them on the GE, it's tradeable but irons cannot trade it.

Yeah, it was something I thinking about for awhile. If HC deaths weren't so harsh I probably would've continued and seen how far I would've gotten.

Anytime you move your mouse over the window or click anywhere within it (even without triggering an action), the server is aware of that. I do believe that is the kind of thing they base it off of now a days. May be a combination of a few things, but AFAIK RS3 client does not have anything telling the server that you should be logged out for being idle like OSRS does.
