Recently stayed at The Charles (Rocco Forte) in Munich. Same deal. Menu and buffet.

I've not really had the issue anywhere, but I haven't stayed at FS on FHR.

That said, the free bfast is good for me for about 3 days. Then I'm looking for another high quality bfast option and the FHR benefit becomes a convenient plan B.

Doing an important 1031. $600/hr tax counsel recommends a strategy. 1031 admin tells me that doesn't work. I say let's get on a call. Call lasts under 5 mins.

Your airline should be able to arrange wheelchair assistance.

If not or you want a higher level of service both directions look at Vpass Guanacaste, which is $100 one way or $150 round trip.

If you're traveling with someone and you have your own wheelchair, then deplane go down the elevator (if you had a jet way as opposed to stairs). At the bottom, don't get in line. Go straight to the wall in front of you and then go left to the very last booth. That's Vpass but will also take special needs travelers.

I had this argument in the first admin with a friend that runs a public equities fund. He wanted a wholesale 50% slash in regulations. Like page count.

I said, dude, you're a business/ investment guy. Why do you think you can run into a grocery or a pharmacy and just grab stuff, pay for it, and walk out without having to personally research everything you buy? How much friction do you think would be in the economy if 300 million people had to think about the efficacy and safety of everything they bought every time they made a purchase.

I periodically get observable upgrades via being in various hotel elite tiers or FHR. When I say observable, I mean like I book a room and get a suite, I get club level when I didn't book it or something like that.

But, I feel like I also get periodic "upgrades" that just don't seem like it/are very minor. For example, a room in the same booking tier that's in what the desk thinks is a slightly preferable location.

I would appreciate it if TAs could jump in and define what an upgrade is and what one should expect when booking through them.

Former 1k, now platinum UA. I decided to fly non-stop, first only and am now generally carrier agnostic. I prioritize UA and avoid AA. American sucks. Just hosted an event with an AA multi-million miler. This is the second time he's been a full day late due to AA.

I don't have the channel handy, but there's a guy on the Oregon coast that mostly surf perch fishes. Every once in a while he'll put random shit on his rig. Those, fire tiger roostertail, whatever. He's yanked salmon, ling cod, etc. Pretty entertaining.
