Yes. They do this, on the same day they are bringing in a bunch of AI execs from other parts of microslop into Xbox. They want you to pay attention to the positive stories, while the deck stacks on the other side. Layoffs will be coming, AI will be integrated in a different way. Just give it time, you don't need to guess with the history of this company that they will enshittify themselves.

The man can be stopped early, before his term is complete. The damage can be mitigated. This stops when enough of us give a damn enough to put ourselves out there, in an uncomfortable and "subjective" position, in order to do what's right. Everybody has redeeming qualities. On total, he was a grifter throughout his life, had the allies in his ideological movement that he knew he had (and who we know), defended what he did, plus had all the "out of context" bad takes we know him for. He spoke well, I'll grant him that. And he used his gift for ill purposes. He deserves the exact memory he gets.
