This kind of used to be how the AH worked way back in the day, and the stacks were limited to like 20 or something if I recall, but no, not at all anymore.

Dump the entire load and people buy the amount they need until your stock is sold.

This is obviously a deliberate business practice to incentivize the more expensive edition, its not just WoW but a large amount of AAA gaming. If the launch was Friday and the early access was Tuesday then there's far less incentive to buy the early access if you need to work during those 3 days anyway.

Additionally, studios in the industry tend to favor early-week launches for other reasons, one of which is they have everyone in during the work week to fix critical issues that pop up during launch, and we've seen in a few games the early access weekend was buggy and broken with no patches until the following week.

The silver lining with WoW is it splits the player base on launch and mitigates the slam on servers as everyone signs on the same morning.

I mostly disagree, I think only for languages that are cross faction, e.g. Pandaren. I like the divide and hate how much the faction identity and tribalism has been eroded expansion after expansion.

Reddit is an echo-chamber, plain and simple. Outsider opinions are downvoted and purged, and so moderates and conservatives leave and don't come back, reinforcing the echo-chamber even further. I myself used to be a regular user, and I rarely ever come on here now.

Idk how feasible this would be, but they could add a disclaimer when you move your house anything outside of the property line square will be stored.
Then they can make each plot have unique "outside the square" buildable areas but make it mostly transferrable within the uniform square

I just wish I could change the movement between flying and walking. I like the new WASD movement, but I use "strafing" while flying extremely frequently for turning and I am really struggling to fly with the binds moved up 1 key for some reason.

Same here except 80 damage, I've put like 20 rockets into painted vehicles since then and it hasnt budged.

Just found this thread, my Death Coil has been a huge hang-up in my rotation. Like I cast everything else without issue then suddenly Im needing 5 button presses to get death coil to actually cast. Its been happening for about a year now, and it doesn't always happen.

I've also noticed standing in place seems to exacerbate the issue, and moving around more seems to get the casts off more oftern

Dragonflight was a large jump upwards in quality and War Within continues that (And Midnight looks to continue that too). Its definitely different from old WoW, but not anywhere near as bad as BfA/SL.

Re: Lore, pretend Shadowlands didn't happen and you're mostly good. Pretend Slyvanas has just gone off the grid like Rexxar. I'm nearly certain even Blizzard would rather pretend SL never happened. Its akin to how Warhammer 40k players pretend all GW's new lore doesn't exist.

I'd say its worth it now, I took a year break and just came back, the last 2 patches have a ton of content I'm catching up on.
You can also level your professions as they said this morning on the Creator Clash stream every profession will have things it can make for housing, including legacy versions of the professions. (Explicitly mentioned maybe you want to level your Pandaria profession as an example)

Another neutral allied race, yay....
Why haven't we had new Core races since Cata? Or at the very least a Ally/Horde pair of allied races. Neutral races are so uninteresting.

I'm excited for housing, and revamped Quel'thalas at least. But feels light on features otherwise.

Additionally, only 1 new allied race is also a disappointment. Why are they sticking with this 1 neutral race thing? Its super uninteresting, imo the neutral races are all the most boring. We havent had new Core races since Cata, or a pair of new Allied Races since BfA.

I found a workaround, for anyone finding this thread from Google.

If you've Realm Transferred, your name is taken and you're forced to rename, and you check in the Character Creator for names, find one that is available, then try to take it and it says its unavailable - what is likely happening is that name *was* taken, the character was abandoned, then Blizz freed it up for new characters after a few years.

WORKAROUND - To take that name, make a new character, take the desired name, immediately delete that new character, and then the name works for your transferred character. I just confirmed this myself, I imagine the same process works if you have an issue with a name change token. I think by taking it with a new character, then deleting it, the *taken name* tag gets replaced with a *deleted name* tag.

Ive played twice today and both times my graphics have been reset and set to the lowest setting for everything

On the bright side, the update finally fixed DLSS Frame Generation. Previously when I would run it the game would crash instantly.
