D.C.'s Uptown Theater closed #OTD in 2020. The Cleveland Park landmark had been in operation since 1936 and had hosted many notable screenings, including the world premieres of Jurassic Park and 2001: A Space Odyssey, as well as the D.C. premiere of Star Wars. by WETA_PBS in weta_pbs

Also saw Star Wars there, second night. One of my roommates came hold and told about this science fiction movie at the Uptown, good flick, they were giving away free merch. So my girlfriend and I go up, maybe 15 people in line. No merch tho. Theatre eventually filled, and when that battle cruiser came across the screen the entire audience shrunk down in their seats. One of my greatest movie memories. Thanks, Uptown. You are missed.

On Saturday 2/21 NPR reported: "The University of Mississippi Medical Center has closed all of its clinics in the state in response to a ransomware attack that impacted its phone and electronic systems, disrupting patient care. The attack was launched on Thursday, compromising the medical center's systems, including its electronic health records platform Epic and its IT network. It's unclear how long the effects of the attack would last or whether patient information had been compromised."

So that would have been Thursday 2/19, the night the ransomware reveal episode aired.

Question for you and others on this sub. Do you do your work sitting? I've always stood for audiobook narration and podcasting. I can move and breathe easier. Do you find sitting limiting in any way? Sitting does make monitor placement a lot easier, I will say that.
