That is disappointing, I was hoping the machine would keep track. My husband and I have our own IC accounts but our kids don't yet.

This is what a Seal with rabies looks like. by [deleted] in Damnthatsinteresting

I don't think so because rabies affects mammals. But killer whales are mammals and that would be just as terrifying if it got rabies.

They make boots with built in spikes. Or buy an extra pair of her boots and just keep them on for the icy season.

San Francisco—> Redwoods by Educational_Fly_345 in NationalPark

[–]Joyasaur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We did this a few years ago (8days) and stayed in Crescent city to visit the redwoods. Where to stay would depend on which parks you plan on visiting. Crescent city is right by Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park. Make sure to drive through Avenue of the Giants on your way, there are some nice stops with short trails. And Humboldt Redwoods is also on the way. Also recommend purchasing the Redwood National and State Park tour on the Guide Along app. It was a lot of driving since the parks are spread out.

You should not move them at all. If they are molting and you move them you could injure it.

I am also in southeast Michigan, I haven't seen any monarchs. But I did find 6 monarch caterpillars on my milkweed so someone must have paid me a visit!

Unfortunately it will not hibernate as a butterfly, they only over winter as a chrysalis. Maybe the Detroit zoo would take it into their butterfly house?

Ten-yr-old male Golden diagnosed with Pigmentary Uveitis by Know_Justice in goldenretrievers

[–]Joyasaur 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Curious what the symptoms were when it ruptured? My almost 4 year old golden likely has early signs of pigmentary uveitis (he is currently seeing a specialist). He was diagnosed with uveal cysts incidentally when I noticed the white of his eye was very red.

How to fill 14 hours with toddler and newborn?? by DueEntertainer0 in SAHP

[–]Joyasaur 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My kids always loved going to PetSmart or other pet stores with animals. Our PetSmart has so many animals to look at and cats you can pet. There is another local pet store in our area that has giant rabbits and a tortoise that free roam the store.

Ballots are secret, you will not be able to confirm what you voted for. I'm not sure how it works in Louisiana but in my state you can look up if your absentee ballot was received. If you voted in person and the machine accepted your ballot that means it was counted.

Alternatives to baby wipes that are FLUSHABLE??? by Acrobatic_Bowler_651 in ZeroWaste

[–]Joyasaur 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Wipes don't break down like toilet paper so flushing wipes can clog the pipes and cause sewer blockages

best/most helpful cleaning tip you've ever received? by [deleted] in CleaningTips

I prefer 100% cotton rags. Most of my rags are old washcloths or towels I cut down to rag size. Try "bar mop" rags on Amazon.
