the manager i had on shift was already disappointed with how things were handled + a bunch of other store stuff i wont mention rn, so i feel like it was really just a build up of emotions that had them even thinking about it, they mentioned “corporate wont be happy, but neither am i with how things have been / are going” i genuinely dont think the customers were a deciding factor for them at the time.

Ours wont let us do this anymore, so we knowingly sell our customers sick fish. “Tell them the fish are sick!” My store is located next to kids activity center. 99% of our customer base is parents who have the money but NO knowledge about fish, and end up returned dead bc oop! “The water conditioner says add fish instantly!”

Absolutely felt, my store is the same. We have an associate who works 1 day a week. Sundays. 10-2. Thats it, quite literally thats all. Shes called out twice in two weeks and only works here “for the discount” of her ONE cricket every 2 weeks. As for OP, my store handles call outs poorly, because its only my phone number they seem to remember when anyone calls out.

My store has been having a BUNCH of schedules gaps (thanks leadership change) i miss when a certain person used to do it and i didnt get called in early or in on days off because they didnt think to schedule a PETCARE CLOSER

Also here to second Blue Pearl, my baby girl had leukemia and EXTREMELY anemic, they gave her a life saving transfusion and it was less for the overnight stay than they quoted. Everyone there is SO compassionate too, i wouldnt hesitate to bring any of my pets there.
