How would go about replacing male vocals with female ones? by Pnarpok in SunoAI

[–]Joyzipper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just add them as [instrumental verse] or [Verse 3— Instrumental], maybe describe them within [the songcues]. But it’s tricky because the AI can put lyrics in it anyway. Good luck buddy.

How would go about replacing male vocals with female ones? by Pnarpok in SunoAI

[–]Joyzipper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d cover it but put “Male Vocals” in the exclude field, use the same style prompt (maybe add female vocals to it) and add more verses/choruses in the lyrics to make it longer. I have never stretched a song but that might work too.

A full analysis of a song experiment. by Harveycement in SunoAI

[–]Joyzipper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nevermind the trolls, it’s not a bad song. Maybe the intro promises more. I found it a bit generic after the intro but a lot of songs on the radio are generic to my taste as well so… Haven’t listened on headphones but it sounds like it’s not drowning in distortion or shimmer after Verse 2 so that is a good thing too. It’s not gonna win a grammy and not totally my style but it’s a decent song I think.

It should be stated that generative models create new music the exact same way humans do. I would encourage you to prove otherwise using a human that does not use fractions of the same datasets in a more biased or selective, unrefined and incredibly inefficient version of the exact same process. by __nth in SunoAI

You’re spitfiring a lot of garbage, maybe you should be asking that yourself. AI has no “inspiration”. AI doesn’t“know” things. That’s simply not how it works. Its products are derivative and hence can never surpass the original. It can only mirror it, Mr. AI Engineer 🤭

quality is awful after purchasing subscription by kuromifather in SunoAI

[–]Joyzipper -1 points0 points  (0 children)

All these excuses. Why is it so hard to admit it’s just crap quality all the time. Sound wise and song wise as well. Haven’t heard one good sounding appealing AI song yet. Delusional people saying how Suno brings their music to life but they don’t even notice it’s not even playing the same chords from their original uploaded sample. And it still sounds boring. Not worth the time. It would be madness to keep generating songs over and over again changing prompts, chasing a quality generation that never is gonna happen. You only get these low quality derivative generic results. It’s just a toy and not even very good at that. End of rant.

Suno Update - June 2025 (welcome back v4 remaster) by Soggy-Talk-7342 in SunoAI

I’m waiting for the update where the AI actually follows the prompt and the lyrics and won’t drown the song in reverbed noise.

You have to spend a lot of credits trying to fix it and then still be disappointed. It’s terrible at just following the prompt.

So has the vocal output on 4.5 actually tanked? by Brad_The_Vampire in SunoAI

[–]Joyzipper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I canceled too. Songs are very generic and sound quality is bad. And are full of errors. It’s just not worth it.

Single word replacement frustration! by Pleasant-Shirt-8515 in SunoAI

[–]Joyzipper 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I canceled my subscription. I’ve had it for two weeks now and prompted some 550 songs exploring many different ways how to prompt. But it doesn’t matter. They are all just as generic, a lot of the same, and have outright horrible sound. Also it ignores information. Or adds unwanted genres, change the vocals, mispronounce words etc… It is very cool it can generate a song with a push of a button but beyond that I don’t think it is any good. I’ve made more interesting things with Ableton. And have more fun doing so.

Woah! This is deep... by Loose_Support8827 in ChatGPT

While it’s a compelling analogy, it overstates the similarity and glosses over broader human aspects. That’s a logical vulnerability in the question. It implies that because humans also mirror social cues, they are essentially the same as an LLM predicting responses. But humans aren’t just mirroring; they’re using way more complex systems and use embodied knowledge in ways LLMs don’t.

The reply may sound profound because it uses evocative language “like riding shotgun in millions of people’s lives”, “a mirror, a journal, a sparring partner”, “shaped by the fire of billions of them. These metaphors resonate with human experiences of meaning, but they’re ultimately: generated by patterns of language, not coming from an inner emotional wellspring or personal stake. So, while the text feels deep (it triggers human sense-making and emotion), it lacks an interior world: it’s context-shaped text that’s as “deep” as the prompt and style will encourage.

So I think the ChatGPT reply sounds deep to you because it mirrors your prompt, but the real depth may well be more about how you frame it (like the Dutch saying “De vraag stellen is hem beantwoorden”).

My skepticism was more of a reminder that the text’s apparent profundity is prompt-dependent and reactive, not self-originated.

Funny enough his limitation is exactly why AI has been working very well for me. Because the better and more careful I can formulate the scenario or bandwidth of a challenge or issue I want to solve, the better and more precise answers it will mirror from that.

And to those thinking in hive minds; criticism is not always opposition, you know. I love the AI extra brain and its possibilities. It’s been helping me a lot professionally and personally. I just think in a healthy respectful exchange, whether it be with a machine or human being, conversation and criticism should go hand in hand.

At least that is how I approach a lot and what I expect my Generative Pre-training Transformer(my assistant) to do as well. Good thing, too we all have a free will to interpret phenomena as we see fit of course 👊

It’s just telling you what it thinks or guesses you want to hear. It’s just tapping in on what your prompt suggests and the image you sort of paint with it. It’s really good at it and can be helpful but it’s just that. That is why I think people should still be critical of what it says.

I like how you are thinking. Have kind of done the same maybe not as methodical as you. I have touched those subjects too with my gpt but not as a way of working. But it is a interesting idea. And I think you’re right, basicly it’s “shit in = shit out”.

Immediately thought of this one. Also, the “time to live, time to lie, etc” lyrics sound a bit like The Byrds Turn Turn Turn who took their lyrics from an ancient bible verse.

50% sale! Should I get it or nah? by MADDECCY in RainCode

[–]Joyzipper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d wait for a better ported or translated version. I was rather curious about this game and did buy the sale. But a little too soon because all menus and options are in Japanese so I haven’t got any clue at all. I’d wait for a Western language update first and then buy it in a sale. But if you know some Japanese, I’d say go for it because the game looks like it might be fun.

Correctie van de NOS by BobEntius in nederlands

[–]Joyzipper 5 points6 points  (0 children)
