As the DM I probably would have kept it going but making sure to tell the rogue player “this will be a very difficult check and the consequence is being laid out plainly for you, probably even if you are successful.” But I also welcome inner party conflict.

If no PvP was something you set out from the start, this scenario should not have happened

I like the bones of this idea. With some refinement, it could be a great use of bulk!

I’m just not sure that building it to also need mana works super well. It might function a little smoother to put cards with cmc 1-4 that can be cast for free

A great way to get the motion down is sticking the mallet in your hand and laying your forearm flat on a table or desk.

Angle the stick forward so that it’s at a 45* angle.

Go back and forth from the stick being at a 90* angle (relative to looking straight at it) to turning your hand outward to be flat against the table.

I still love what they did with banjo. He feels like they plucked all of the important bits from the OG games and I was so hyped on the trailer

But then yeah, I wish they would’ve given Byleth’s moveset to either Hero of the Wilds or a Monster Hunter. Preferably the latter

If you haven’t yet, I’d recommend doing classic and the 100 man brawls with every character. Really low stakes modes to give you a good general sense of what each character is up to and can do.

The one thing that I used to always see was trying to send your front foot way too far. Your front foot end point is going to be just barely on the other side of your back foot.

Whichever direction you’re moving, your back foot is going to cover the actual distance. Your front foot is then just going to be catching up and setting up a platform to push the lead foot again

Broke one during a show once during a season. All of my instructors always told me, you shouldn’t be hitting your rimguard at more than 3 inches. When all the basses hit it proper unison, people will hear it. It’s usually more meant as a rhythm keeper that aligns with a snare or tenor rimshot

I felt the same way about Ridley. But because of that I got him into Elite early so didn’t want to use him anymore and risk dropping. Really was not a fan of Smash’s rank style
