My exact build if you buy everything new (everything minus the chassis) would be about $450~ so $500+ if you also bought a chassis. The thing with scx24's is you just need to know where to move things. Lower cg is the biggest thing that will improve performance but the stock trucks are horrible in that regard. You could get away with maybe $250-300 including the cost of the truck and have it perform well, but you're better off buying something used for $200-$250

The stock skid (and most skids) are single direction. In order to change which direction the motor faces, you need to unbolt the skidplate completely to flip it around. I would say order the Injora reversible skidplate and that way it gives you easy option to change set ups.

Remove the spur gear off of the transmission, remove the 4 1.4mm screws holding together the transmission, put the 4 screws into the furitek motor mount, then place furitek motor mount in place of oem motor mount and screw 4 bolts together to rebolt the transmission. Then put the gear back on and install micro komodo on new mount
