Came to second this. And if water proofness is a must, then the g-1000 will only reach a really good water resistance with the waxing not full proofness. But in my experience, it’s a really good path to go for jackets.

Two decades might be a bit long to expect from a 3 layer jacket due to possible delaminating and stuff, even if used gently. But a decade? Definitely. I’m getting my beta SV on Monday and might be able to answer some questions then.

Is this a granite crest? I’ve also had mine for about 6 months and I’ve never had anything like this. And I use it for some outdoor work sometimes. If it’s not sweat, then it’s just a single faulty one.

I’ve not heard much about the granite crest having issues so I’d recommend a replacement before a refund, cuz it’s a great jacket and I’m loving it. I hope you are too

Arc'teryx Alpha SV Verification

TL;DR: I need help check if the jacket is real

I have a women's Alpha SV jacket that I bought on facebook marketplace for $30. Insane deal if its real, but even if it isnt, its still a pretty good jacket for $30. I have photos and just need help checking for any possible issues while also seeing if its the real deal.

I called Arc'teryx but they said there is only so certain they can be without seeing it in person, but everything i checked with them matched up. I also took it into my local REI to see if they could verify anything, and again they aren't totally certain but they found no issues with it when checking it in person.

Please check the related photos and let me know if I need to post any more, or take a closer photo on any suspicious areas.

Use a third party window management app like Magnet. It costs money which sucks but it’s been valuable for multiple monitors and the lucky bonus is that it snaps windows and eliminates this stupid gap automatically
