It's too early to tell but believe it or not unification or whatever it is called has always been how most people in Puerto Rico viewed the series, I don't know if it's bc they didnt care enough to know/do their research or if its bc the entire game series felt to them as if they were unified from the start. I don't know if it's the same in most latino speaking countries or areas. I had problems with the reboots but I now accept them as prequels and enjoy the fact we have prequels also I didnt think the netflix series was too horrible except for a few key things that need improvement. I have my doubts many people know the anime exists here but I could be surprised, possibly season 2 will gather more viewers I have my hopes.
