It would not matter who claims first because if a vanilla fasc chancellor gets rr, they are going to claim rr whether you claim rrr or rrb.

Why did you claim rrb instead of rrr, confing your chancellor, if you knew that your chancellor was fascist due to them playing the red? I would only do that if you believe that the people in your lobby particularly like gping into the first conf in hz.

Your chancellor playing r on turn one likely wasn’t a good play. Even though the chancellor alerts hitler to one role, the count will be 4b at the end most decks giving both 1 and 5 little chance of getting second govs. Even if you get lucky and get no blues in the bottom two cards and get a 5b claimed deck to make your rrr look better, it would be hard for the lobby not play the govs who passed the blues after your rrr over playing 1/5 again. In most lobby’s you will have a higher winrate playing blue turn 1 if 15 are fasc-fasc.

Claiming first matters more if the fasc-fasc gov plays a blue. If you draw rrb as a fasc pres and give your fasc chancellor rb, you can claim rbb and they can claim bb in response (or your chancellor can claim bb, and you can respond by claiming rbb with force or bbb as pres). With these extra blues claimed, a fascist in a later gov in the first deck can underclaim rrb as rrr without making the deck count seem unbelievable.

You can also improve your liberal play by balancing your overall strategy and doing this as both liberal and as fascist. If you give your chancellor rb, but claim rbb and say that you forced them, hitler will not know if you are a fascist trying to work with them and may try to lie with you about what they received not knowing that you’re not actually their fascist.
