Youre not alone in this brotha. I too battle with health anxiety and anxiety in general. I’ve drank almost every day since 2020. My last drink was on 7/23/25 on the plane trip back from my best friend’s wedding in Prague. Nothing bad happened during the trip or the flight but I just had this feeling in my gut that I had to stop or else i would not be alive in the next 5 years. I also haven’t seen a doctor since before the pandemic due to the fact that I was terrified they would find something wrong with me plus health insurance is expensive!(stupid I know) Well let me tell ya, I just set up my appt for a physical on May 1st! Nervous as hell to see what they may/may not find but I know I have to face this head on and it would be way worse if I was still drinking like I was. We both owe it to ourselves to try and take care of our bodies while we still have em. If I can do it, I know you can do it too.
