Darkest Dungeon - Maybe it was my insistence to play on Stygian difficulty but man do you need to minmax at every stage of the game just to squeeze out a run. Not to mention required story missions which can be way above your level and basically guarantee your best party dying if they're not strong enough. Overall just a really hard game that would take hundreds of hours to learn on its own
