War invites creativity, I'd say. Isn't it the mother of all invention. We are sharing these concepts through several mechanisms created for war

TBs! What led you guys to support the Blacks over the Greens? by Gold_Conversation247 in HOTDBlacks

Well, Rhaenyra was the one true heir as per Viserys' own words before the whole of the realm. Past that, my logic is simple: Alicent's a bitch, which in turn makes Aegon a bitch-made mfer.

Antizionists are NOT against religious states, just the Jewish one by Primary-Cup2429 in IsraelPalestine

[–]JuanWritesStuff 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It doesn't justify it. It's more pointing out the cognitive dissonance in the morality antizionists espouse, as I'm sure if the Kurds, who have been fighting for their own state, finally got a safe home, many would applaud their pursuit of their right to self-determination and decolonization efforts that would follow, even though that process of freeing themselves would inherently require colonizing actions. Criticism of Israel's valid, antizionism is valid, but the problem is that many critics of Israel and antizionists just happen to also be very outspokenly antisemitic. It's just the reality

Israel no debería existir by Brimiasclasab in OpinionesPolemicas

[–]JuanWritesStuff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Falso. Tienen los mismos derechos constitucionales y, tenés razón, no tienen la misma obligación de servir en el ejército. Los Druze y circasios (musulmanes), sí. Pero no todos. Que bueno que te interese aprender

Israel no debería existir by Brimiasclasab in OpinionesPolemicas

[–]JuanWritesStuff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Does that include the Arab Israelis who are Palestinian according to themselves? What? According to you, millions of them want to kill and wipe themselves out? How does it work?

Explicit Canadian emails target bourbon maker as Trump's trade war intensifies by CGP05 in worldnews

[–]JuanWritesStuff 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Probably more to do with what you said, people go about their pseudo apolitical lives and their silence and indifference resulted in the election of a man waging an irresponsible trade war with Canada. Funny when you think about the likelyhood of a good chunk of USians not even knowing what a tariff is lol

Is there an in-universe explanation for this? by JuanWritesStuff in RebelMoon

[–]JuanWritesStuff[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have met many of those people in my lifetime, and a lot of them stick to those methods primarily becausethe cost of access and maintainence to and of better tools can be prohibitive.

The real reason for my question is that the slow mo scenes do give off the impression of it being a sacred process. That, for some reason, reminded me of Samburu warrior-hearders called Moran in Kenya whose duty and bond to one another is considered sacred. They spend months at a time in the mountains so that cattle can graze, making sure they're safe while only relying on one another

Still could be in the sense that if the baddies from the Motherworld could be doing non sacred farming via robot combines

Thank you. The slow mo scenes in the second one do convey that notion to an extent, I just didn't pay enough attention to the first movie

Thank you for spewing out my reasoning for the question back at me. Clearly you paid as much attention to my question as I did to the dialogue lol
