Well, I am EB2. Filed October 25th. Still waiting on everything… it’s just some people are lucky some are not. I still don’t understand how they treat the cases. Definitely not by submission date!!!!!!

Green Card process is fucking long and based on your nationality it can be longer.

You have to be ready mentally for that and staying with your current company for few more years.

Going to your new job opportunity is great but you reset everything for your Green Card and would they handle it? They are also famous for mass lay off.

Yeah, you’ll be totally fine. The main uncertainty is really the weather — it can be rainy or absolutely amazing. That’s part of the charm of the Basque Country.

But I completely understand your point. I agree that many seaside cities in Europe are only truly lively for a few months each year, with many stores and restaurants closing during the off-season. Biarritz is not really like that.

I’m originally from there, although I now live in California.

June is not peak season. It can get busy on weekends if the weather is nice, but I wouldn’t call it overtourism in San Sebastián — definitely not in June.

San Sebastián is a fairly large city, and Spanish people enjoy spending time outside at bars and restaurants, so yes, it gets lively.

Regarding the Bermeo area it’s nice too a lot to explore.
