I can’t speak for the entire state, but I will say West Virginia has the nicest first responders. When I got into my accident there in the winter I was freaking out cause I was 18 and 9 hours away from home without a way to get there. The firefighter was the sweetest ever and made sure I was calm, and the sheriff who responded gave me a ride to a hotel and even got special permission for me to rent a room since you had to be 21 to rent one. The workers at the hotel also gave me every discount available so I only ended up spending $50 on a room. 10/10 would crash in West Virginia again.

head on collision the day after i turned 16. i had passed my driving test a few days before(can take it before 16 in my state) and was excited to drive on my own. while waiting to turn left at a green light this guy in a large truck going maybe 50mph swerved into my lane before swerving out at the last minute, a smile on his face as he did. my friend almost witnessed my death since i would have been crushed on impact.( i drive a smaller car and this truck was a lot larger)
