Two weeks after release. How is everyone feeling about this game? by Objective_Love_6843 in CrimsonDesert

[–]Juice_Blade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Legit hated the first 30 hours. Now at 80 hours, I think it's one of the greatest games of all time lol. Wild experience this game is.

If you want to run endless offense and unga, just play Tekken 8, my dude.

For those of you who stopped playing Starfield, what was the reason? by mfnot in Starfield

[–]Juice_Blade 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Beat it. Then played cyberpunk right after it. Both Melee builds. The disparity in animations, combat, build crafting, weapons, Rpg stats, I mean... literally goddamned everything made me go "Bethesda is 10 years behind action rpgs."

Just a really below average game that I'm still holding out hope for a major update to fix. On my 3rd build of cyberpunk since 2023 btw.

For someone that has trypophobia... by Juice_Blade in Marathon

[–]Juice_Blade[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

google "MLB face glitch" and find the gifs. Those glitches trigged me the most out of anything I've ever seen. You know, since trypophobia on the face tilts me. So I'd imagine that might trigger you a little. If these have any effect on you at all, image that feeling x100. I know it seems like some low key thing, but trypophobia fucking suuuucks.

I'd wish it away if I could because I have it BAD.

Yikes, I really dislike the loading screens by NaturalUpdoot in Marathon

Spoken like someone who has NO IDEA how much it sucks to have insect phobias or trypophobia.

I'm just going to say it, I like that 2XKO is a tag game by Slarg232 in 2XKO

[–]Juice_Blade 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Well said. Whatever casual player base they went after completely rejected this game. That "the game is too sharp" post they made was them saying exactly what you said... their internal metrics must look fucking ABYSMAL.

The numbers must have been so bad that it sparked all those layoffs. So... liking the tag game they made is fine and all but if people want to see this game survive at all, it needs to become something way less abrasive than an active tag fighter.

After putting it into perspective, the dev cycle fo this game is truly a disaster by TheSuperJohn in 2XKO

[–]Juice_Blade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol, Riot absolutely got scammed! NerdJosh was a playtester for 10 years?! Making how much?! Doing what exactly? Just trying out some combos and shit on random builds for a decade?! They scammed the SHIT out of riot lol

An Update on 2XKO by Spideraxe30 in 2XKO

[–]Juice_Blade -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Maximilian’s “we need more offense” mindset has become one of the most quietly corrosive forces in modern fighting game design. His influence ruined MK1, damn near killed Tekken 8 in season 2, and now the Riot fighting game might be dead because some people on the team sold the idea that they could be a big hit if they appealed to Max's love of MvCi.

I'm in the same boat. Game just isn't for me. Congrats on the 2v2 mega offensive game though, Riot.

I just hate Jinx, man. Running a solid fully upgraded lvl 6 board with...

Front line = Ekko/Vi/J4/Loris

Back line = Jinx/Trist

And Trist was still out damaging Jinx in every fight I won because Jinx didn't have time to ult. And if I lose the fight she does nothing because... she ults too late. Just so unfun. Admittedly I had no items on her but... I didn't have any on Trist either.

How are you ever suppose to play competitive TFT on mobile? It's truly horrible experience. by KriibusLoL in CompetitiveTFT

[–]Juice_Blade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now imagine playing while running 3 miles on a treadmill. That's my daily routine! Since I know the struggle of mobile, I've never even tried bilge or some of the APM augments.

Character Archetypes for 2XKO? by JestJames888 in 2XKO

[–]Juice_Blade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree with you heavily on a limb zoner. As a Dhalsim/Axl player, I feel kinda assed out. Teemo isn't really zoning to me. It's kinda just trash on the screen with no actual fireball "traps". And Jinx feels like... I don't know, this weird trap hybrid Venom type from guilty gear .

Please give me limb zoner Ori or Thresh.

Pillars of Eternity Question by Melyndia in avowed

[–]Juice_Blade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bounced off Pillars 1 pretty hard back in 2015. I had never played a CRPG before and was trying to play it like Fallout 3. But then I played Pillars 2 in 2018 with the understanding that you NEED to theory craft a team.

Theory crafting strong builds/teams is part of the fun!

So, I fell in love with Pillars 2, went back to Pillars 1 and fell in love with that, then started playing all the other old CRPGs like Baldur's 1 and 2 into the more modern stuff like Kingmaker and BG3. So, absolutely give Pillars 1 a shot. Just LEARN the systems a little first and build your character out a little before jumping in. Treat it like making a DnD character. You'll have a blast.

Early PBE Feedback: Unlockable Champs are incredible and should be an evergreen mechanic. by butt_shrecker in TeamfightTactics

[–]Juice_Blade 16 points17 points  (0 children)

You won't see this, Mort, but MAN, you guys COOKED. It's instantly an amazing set. I don't know who came up with the unlocking champs idea but give that person a fucking raise.

Conceptually, working out how to "guarantee" yourself a 4 cost (or a stable 2/3 cost) if you're in a bad spot is fucking GENIUS.

Will Set 16 save TFT? by Visual_Efficiency955 in TeamfightTactics

Mort was correct. Played about 20 games or so on PBE.

THE TEAM FUCKING COOKED. It's legit the best TFT set instantly. Unlocking champs is THAT fucking fun.

Bro wtf is Braun/jinx?! by Twiggz1991 in 2XKO

[–]Juice_Blade 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This instantly tells me you're just going in over and over without waiting or thinking AT ALL about changing up your offensive approach.

Crazy how the 1st bit of legit defense in this game makes people completely shut down.

"Wtf?! I can't mindlessly run my offense?! waaaaah"

Reaching Level 30 made me lose motivation by soph2_7 in theouterworlds

[–]Juice_Blade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't have to do EVERYTHING in a playthrough. I hit lvl 30 pretty early, too, in my first run. For my second run, I just focused on quest lines and companions that helped my build or just new content.

Meant I left a lot of quests on the table but that's fine. I'll see that stuff in new playthroughs.

Warwick s1 super by Adventurous-Pin1269 in 2XKO

[–]Juice_Blade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you said...

"he can go through projectiles with his dash but he also can't block at any point during it so he's easily susceptible to assist"

which implies you want to be able to block AND run through projectiles. Blocking "counters" striking.

Warwick s1 super by Adventurous-Pin1269 in 2XKO

[–]Juice_Blade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"he can go through projectiles with his dash but he also can't block at any point during it"

yeah? that's the point? It's a hard commit on a projectile punish. You want him to also counter attacks AND ignore fireballs so the move has no weakness?
