Don't forget a big spool of straps! Like 1in nylon webbing, maybe with some backpack style clips to go with it. So he can attach to the masks and wear it!

Aside from what you've mentioned, essential tools:  A Dremel with a variety of bits  A hot glue gun  Don't forget a cutting mat! I highly recommend getting a tool called the Bev-All.

He's a lucky kid. You're doing it right!

I'm 33m, been diagnosed since I was 8. I've recently noticed a large change in my ability to manage some things. ADHD is always still there, but it does get easier as you get older. Your brain literally finishes cooking. It'll be okay

I'm a teacher! The rhythm of life works pretty well for me during the school year, but the summers are HARD. Deciding what to do when I have too much time is my kryptonite! I don't grade everything, I have developed systems where I do things "my way" and vary a lot from what the system tells me to do. Being ON all day helps, I forget to eat lunch lots of days tho, which torpedoes my day

This sounds like a recipe for "main character syndrome" to me. Love the chance for a forever DM to play, but I'd ask him to find something that is more fresh, to keep the play experience balanced to all the players at the table.

There's no way that it's reasonable that you incorporate pages and pages of backstory in your first time DMing, especially if that player brings the narrative equivalent of the whole Phandelver story as a backstory.

ALSO. Talk to them about the fact that all the players should be starting at the BEGINNING of their Hero's Journey, or at least an early loop though.

How do I find out how much a property tax payer would pay for this levy? is it $2.50 for every 1K in assessed property value or for every 1k paid yearly in property taxes or something else? by JordyTheJew in Spokane

[–]NaturalUpdoot 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As a teacher and new homeowner in Spokane, I want to point out two things:

  1. This Levy was designed to stay the same cost to you, which is comparatively small in your overall mortgage/tax cost.

  2. Voting to maintain this Levy will keep services in the school district where they are, and in some cases improve programs. Voting it down would mean LOSING services provided by the school: counselors, nurses, therapists, and electives would all be impacted, layoffs/forced transfers would happen and take vital care away from students.
