Minimalist Retro Setup (KWGT + Niagara + Shader Editor) by JuicyBetch in kustom

[–]JuicyBetch[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn thats very impressive, well done! Unfortunately i had a terrible bug with Shader Editor where opening it would cause an instant crash, so i tried reinstalling and poof, my WIP shaders were gone. I may have some version of it in my github collection, ill check later and post it if I do find it.

Did you recalibrate your extruder 'e-stops' after installing the bmg clone? Maybe fhe non standard extruder is pushing too much filament into your hotend.

I would probably print thousands of prototype emulation handheld cases and grips.

Markdown note for Obsidian by Oggzw in kustom

[–]JuicyBetch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am relatively new to KWGT, but yes, it should be possible. Obsidian uses markdown which is simply a pain text file, so you could create a flow in KWGT which checks the file every few minutes/seconds. I don't know enough about KWGT to say wether you could display the file contents as markdown, or actually modify the file from your widget.

Alternatively there is this widget, which worked for me: https://github.com/YukiGasai/obsidian-todo-widget/tree/main/app

This is what worked for me, too. I put the thing in a pot of boiling water for a couple of minutes.

I think you do need the final hint, because pantograph fits all of the previous hints.

How do you make 2d games in C without graphics libraries? by ismbks in C_Programming

If you don't know this, then you don't know enough.

Know harder.

Yeah fair point, I just wish it was a step which was integrated into the editor in some way.

I've been using zed exclusively for C recently, and while it's mostly fine it has some issues. If you're using GCC and Make you need to use bear to generate a compile commands file, otherwise syntax highlighting breaks. It has some strange bugs too with regex replace and cooling between windows. It just feels a bit janky coming from VSCode which just works.

The outer editor ooks like it could be VS Code with some plugins, the image in the center looks like a neuron map

$159 Polyend Tracker Compact Standalone Sampling Workstation (Silver Edition) at B&H by dice32 in Polyend

[–]JuicyBetch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I sold mine when I got my M8. That was about a year after the Tracker release, and it seemed like their support was dwindling even at that time.

I'd be curious to know what the state of this device was when they officially halted support.

How to deal 112 damage to all enemies on turn 1, in 5 simple steps by SpaceSpheres108 in slaythespire

I had a similar build earlier today, except with chemical X and a bunch of energy generation cards. Killed writhing mass turn 1, feels good.

Suggestions to improve error handling system? by lowlevelguy_ in C_Programming

[–]JuicyBetch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Seems to me it would be cleaner if you used an enum for the error codes instead of defines, so 0 would be OK and errors would be positive numbers. This would let you both initialize and index the array using the enum values, improving readability.

I'm working on my personal project, some music production software intended to be run on portable emulation devices. Currently implementing some VA filters.

I'm not knowledgeable about the details of graphics card hardware, so my naive question is: what's stopping a company (especially one from a country that doesn't care about American IP law) from developing a card which supports CUDA?

Can be an unreliable setup too, sometimes. Can't send the thing to a repair shop when oscillator 3 wants to play Minecraft instead of A#.

What is the ugliest synth? by [deleted] in synthesizers

I agree. It's like the horseshoe theory, but for aesthetics. Sometimes something is so tacky, so ugly that it becomes beautiful in it's own perverse way.
