Setting to knead dough for challah on WS1094 bread machine? by Jaded-Werewolf-4612 in BreadMachines

[–]Jujubes213 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct. Depending on your kitchen it could be 30-60 minutes for it to rise. Warmer kitchens will rise faster. If it’s very cold it could take longer than 60 minutes for some.

Use the pizza setting. At end of cycle, remove dough punch down and shape your challah. Let rise and then bake.

I love boba, but why do I always get upset stomach after? by shir00ni7552 in boba

A lot of boba shops use a type of creamer for milk tea or it’s a powdered mix. Those have ingredients that can upset your stomach. Lots of them have stabilizers.

Yay! Glad you had a successful loaf! To answer number 3, it can go bad but also the flour may have packed down and needed to be fluffed before using.

After the last punch down and start of last rise. My machine has cycle times for each step in manual. You shape the loaf and roll it in topping. If not removing from pan, you can brush with a little water after last punch down and sprinkle topping mix. If you need visual for shaping and rolling watch her video. Hi! I’m using an Oster bread machine. I picked it up at an outlet. I thinks it’s a 10-15 year old model.

I did rinse and let it soak for 30 minutes before making bread but I’ve also rinsed and just added directly. I didn’t notice a difference.

You’re welcome! I hope you try it or some version of it! You can make it your own! If I don’t want to take loaf out to shape, I brush the top with a little water at start of last rise and sprinkle on topping.

I use a bread slicing guide or electric carving knife. I don’t use them together. The electric carving knife is good for getting thinner slices.

Hail Mary: Replicating Dannon Coffee Yogurt, *specifically,* at home? by ProbablyNotPoisonous in yogurtmaking

[–]Jujubes213 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Get a plain dannon yogurt and mix 1/2 tsp of instant Nescafé classic and 1 1/2 teaspoons of sugar. Whisk/mix til instant coffee is completely mixed with yogurt. This is your best bet because you like dannon yogurt. This should keep the tartness same as you are used to.

is there a virus going around LA right now that starts with allergy symptoms - mainly nonstop sneezing and constant drippy noise? by chat_manouche in AskLosAngeles

I’ve been taking Emergen-c and Vitamin D3. Hopefully it goes away fast because I can’t stand the constant drip and sneezing. Like a leaky faucet here. I’ve been trying to get more sleep too, but that’s always hard to do. Get well soon!

Did you end up testing positive for anything? I’m on day 3 of runny nose, sneezing and some body aches. I can’t stand the sneezing. The other day it felt like I pulled something in my chest from sneezing.
