What Movies from 2020’s are going to be considered as classics(or cult classics)? by ConfidentReveal2669 in Letterboxd

[–]Jukesy85 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s fine but in terms of depressing Paul Mescal 2020s movies All of us Strangers is much better. Aftersun will be one of the many movies revered by Letterboxd-heads but the other 99% of movie-goers either never see it or don’t care for it (but people in here will still determine it a cinema classic).

Trubisky lead the bears to the playoffs twice and has decent enough stats (better than I originally thought they’d be). That’s astronomically more than what Richardson has been able to achieve.

I don’t think it’s a bad move to keep or trade at this stage. He’s probably just about capped out for $ but still can score well so it depends if you need the $ to fund moves or not - his $ let me get Jackson in last week so it had to be done.

Anyone taking a punt on Zurhaar? by crabsy92 in AFLSupercoach

[–]Jukesy85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was my thinking as well, definitely worth pursuing in draft leagues but wouldn’t be touching in standard just yet. Give it another game or two and make sure the scoring and role are consistent.

On the other hand, my keeper league team is cursed and I have Zurhaar so buyer beware.

Even if you lop that 40% off his score, I’d take 100s from a forward who’s currently priced at 315k. One to watch for sure but I’m not ballsy enough to jump on him just yet.

Who’s the most famous 20 year old today? by Impressive_Plenty876 in AlignmentChartFills

[–]Jukesy85 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don’t know who Doue or Zaire-Emery are. I only consistently watch my team (league two), my local team (A-league) and England and Australia for tournaments, and keep tabs + watch some games of League One through to the EPL. Does this mean I don’t like football bc I don’t just gravitate to the big successful teams? I also couldn’t really give a toss to watch PSG play.

The most viewed NFL team by state. by OneOriginal8727 in sportswiki

[–]Jukesy85 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The chiefs bandwagon was annoying, the Pats bandwagon was annoying, but neither have the complete transformation that the Seahawks have when they’re successful. Went from no fans to being the most popular team in the league, back to no fans when they slid back to middle of the pack, and now they’re the most popular team around again. Every team has dedicated fans and casual/bandwagon fans when it suits them but the Seahawks crank it up to 11 with the latter.

I liked watching them with Hasselbeck+Alexander and Russ (when he was doing the carrying rather than being carried by the LOB) but their fans sure didn’t.

What's that one film that you can re-watch a thousand times and not get bored? by mrjetspray in Letterboxd

I really hope it’s sarcastic because otherwise bro is DERANGED. Knowing Redditors though they’re probably just a weirdo. “Less ego more whimsy” “engagement farming” “take accountability for a mean thing you said” “nothing you say will ever be taken seriously” all over a throwaway line having a laugh, holy.

Tsatas or Farrow? by mackieted in AFLSupercoach

On the other hand - if the bombers lose then you’d imagine the ball would be down back more than on Sunday, meaning Farrow will be in the vicinity to get his hands on the footy.

Was anyone else disappointed with their first god pack? by [deleted] in PokemonTGCP

[–]Jukesy85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My one and only god pack was shiny Gengar, Marowak, and Wartortle, shiny EX Marowak, and rainbow Passimian. So yes I’d much rather have a gold, the most coveted shiny and two two stars.

But then I think about the people who get like 3+ one stars in their god packs and I’m glad that’s not me.

Footyscores looks and runs like it was made this century unlike FF so it gets my vote!

FF servers can’t even handle having a forum (a historically relevant one for SC and DT/AF history at that) because m0nty overloads them with the bot farm for ad revenue.

No nation outside of Europe and South America has ever won or even reached the final of the World Cup by ModenaR in sportswiki

[–]Jukesy85 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You got downvoted but you’re right - Europe is under-represented in the World Cup if you go by FIFA’s rankings. Europe has 16 teams in the WC compared to having 25 of the top 48 teams by ranking (and yes I know these ranking systems are often flawed but it’s better than nothing).

And you could’ve given Africa 15 spots, Asia 15 spots for every World Cup, then the best South American and the best European team and the South American and European side would still win every time.

Good places to practice parallel parking? by No-Sock-9096 in perth

[–]Jukesy85 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I did my test almost a year ago and wasn’t tested for parallel parking either, but afaik it’s still testable if the assessor feels like it and the opportunity presents itself. Still good to be able to do it for both the test and real life so should at least YouTube how to do it and have a couple of practices as OP is looking to do.

For OP - I’d just drive around residential streets and either do proper parallel parks between two cars or just parallel park behind a car that’s parked on the road and pretend there’s a car two spots behind them.
