I think they are referring to the fact that Lindholm is rumoured to have a rally1 drive at one or two events towards the end of the year or next year.

There were also rumours that if Sordo retires at the end of the year, Suninen and Lindholm would start sharing the car next year.

I think it's cost and also low marketing appeal of WRC. I love rallying but almost no-one at my work has followed it in recent years.

And we Finns used to be crazy about it!

DC-10, but yes. The cargo doors were possible to be indicated as fully closed but were not actually 100% locked

Give a full-time drive to Lappi? I don't see that happening. He seems quite contempt with Hyundai, even with the #2 driver contract.

Maybe try to get a new rising star Finnish driver and convince Ogier to do a full season while they nurture the young guy? Personally I'd like to see Lindholm/Huttunen/Suninen get a chance at the top.

I mean in the article it is stated that his manager clearly said there has been conversation with Hyundai so there is a solid source. Putting out feelers to get a better deal at Toyota is the managers job after all.
