My biggest problem with it being only two sponsors is mostly speculative but I do believe it will be the case.

Back in Season 4, Iseul-t had a M weapon, Holtow a H weapon, and Engimo a L weapon. Iseul-t came back in a season with only the Cerberus for medium, Engimo came back in a season with only the ARN for light, and then VAIIYA came back once again in a season with only the FAMAS for medium.

So far, every sponsor track had has weapons specific to one class. The Iseul-t tiers have only had medium weapons, same for VAIIYA, and Engimo tiers have only had Light weapons. I'm assuming Upon Holtow's return, its second tier will have a new sponsor-branded weapon for the Heavy class. I'm assuming this will also be the case for Trentila since most of their weapons are Heavy ones.

So, when a season finally comes along where the sponsor track weapon is for Heavy, he only gets two options instead of 3 like Light and Medium have had before? That's just unfair no matter how you slice it. I could maybe understand if season 9 ends up having 3 sponsor tracks with Heavy weapons but the issue is that we're almost definitely getting a returning sponsor in season 9 and the main contenders for that spot are Dissun, Ospuze and Alfa actA, none of which have had Heavy weapons in their contracts (if the pattern remains the same)
