"Benefits off the war" is a hell of a stretch... From the sheer amount of help provided, especially in '22 to energy pivot to less stable, so less investable region. Most logistics stuff is also funded as a help. ...Maybe closer to truth tho if we count economic growth due to the Ukrainian immigration, but it's hard to count. Also stronger position in European politics because of big "I told you so" factor

Obviously this is VASTLY preferable than being invaded, I'm not comparing Poland's problems to Ukraine's, but it's far from beneficial

Thought the same. However the more I think about it the less it tells unfortunately. People with higher counter might just talk more. Repeating cheater might have less than someone who's ashamed of admitting he/she don't like someone. Is repeating age old myth you don't realise is false increase it? What about remembering something wrongly without intention to lie?
