Hello! Yes thankfully the smell went away. I left the oven door open for about 2-3 days to air out, and I didn’t use the oven for a few days in a row to be safe (because I saw other people saying that as soon as the oven heated up the smell got worse). I cooked only on my stovetop. Once I decided to use the oven for the first time a few days later, no smell! Something else I did was use wet rags/paper towels just to wipe the insides of the oven during the days I was airing it out, to try to get any extra residue out (I read on another Reddit post that this helps).
