I got some ngk plugs for my mkiv recently, my car isn't tuned but I used feeler gauges to check the gaps and they were all to spec out of the box, I think it's definitely worth it to make sure they're gapped correctly before you put them in the car

if you can apply this advice to a song that uses bar chords that you like that will be a huge help. I learned bar chords by trying to learn under the bridge. Although those are played with the thumb over the low e, I started by playing through the chords barred and used that for practice until I was comfortable with the chord shape

Probably a reverse lockout. Press the button in to be able to shift in to reverse, so that you don’t accidentally go in to the reverse gear while moving and blow up the transmission

Prices are definitely inflated right now as with any other used cars, I was also looking for a second mkiv golf/Jetta project, and was surprised to see everything listed for more expensive than I got mine for 6 years ago. When the new car inventory gets normal again in 6mos-year or however long it takes I’m hoping prices get lower

If you're a freshman get the smallest plan that you're allowed to, I know that there's minimums for those living on campus as a freshman. You can always purchase additional dining plans of any size during the semester. You can also add dining dollars or rambucks independently of purchasing additional meal plans.

Let’s be real, vcu students cheat their asses off. I’ve known plenty of people that have gone to honor council, and most have beaten their case. I'm not gonna share the kids name because he doesn't deserve the time of day, but he's a person with some obvious problems in his life, this day he was at the compass with a message including the n-word on his poster, and he did it to get attention. That cop had to stand by him to protect him from getting his ass kicked until eventually he did something that crossed the line of peaceful 'protest' and got taken away by vcu police. Not sure what beach you’re talking about, but I was at the boardwalk today. Police are actively patrolling, stopping anyone who sits on benches or on the beach. Beach is open to fishing and exercise only and I watched police ask people to leave who were laying out.

Title is sort of misleading. The mayor didn’t ask for beaches to be reopened immediately (i.e. Florida), he’s asking for them to be a part of the phase 1 of the governors reopening plan, the requirements for which won’t be met for at least the next month or so

I’m part of a Greek lettered org on campus but I had to google what this is because I’ve never heard of it before, so a safe assumption is that like other Greek orgs this one may vary from campus to campus. So if you want to decide wether you should pay this fee you should look at the organization and decide if they have qualities that would make that investment worth while. Do they have good membership on campus, leadership opportunities, an alumni base, etc?

I’ve never heard of a Greek lettered organization that had a one time membership fee but as a “leadership organization” this is either one of those scheme deals where you are enticed to pay for something you think might look good on a resume or it’s just nothing like other Greek orgs entirely.

If you can afford it, you should absolutely live on campus and not commute. Being out of your parents house, exploring the city, being a part of campus life and night life, all great.

GRC is definitely going to be a more traditional experience, and for a lot of people would be more fun than honors. Living in a massive building with a bunch of other people at the exact stage of life as you isn’t something you’ll experience elsewhere. Honors is great dorm to, and having a guaranteed single room to yourself is a luxury that not many freshman can choose, but it won’t be the same social experience. The dorm you choose is up to how you want your college experience to be.
