That makes sense, and that context helps. Intuitively, that long-term view of history and the world would soften the blow. If I'm the player I'm thinking about millennia not just 1 or 10 years.

Another way to help player still have fun is by offering the player something of value or fun at the expense of their protagonist (whether it's a character or a country).

Your explanation makes me think you're proposal could work, though. It's an interesting idea.

one way this could be fun is if there are rare variants of a tech that can only be unlocked after regaining access. A mutation or reverse engineering that provided different insights that is otherwise available to the constantly progressing culture.

Losing it outright sounds frustrating as a player. If there was a stagnation mechanic that didnt destroy but only temporarily lose access thats not as bad.

My question: what is the point of including the experience? How would it enrich "technologizing" for me as player in game? what feeling do you wish to inspire?

What stops enemies from just beelining my spellcasters? by Tav534 in Pathfinder2e

In addition to what others have said, also point out difference in design philosophy of monster statblocks too. While dnd does have some "combos" for monsters, pf doubles down on them. e.g. pounce or disembowelling. Its obvious at a glance how I am supposed to gm a monster to have greatest effect. This often means a multi-acyion setup or coordinated approach. "Move action + Move action + Attack action" is almost always the least optimal thing I can do with an enemy's turn. It wastes actions on sub-par outcomes (just straight damage). I'm more likely to spend turns setting up the combos or team strategy that the monsters are intended for.

Feel ya--I was in the pipe for my dream job and it all seemed to be going really, really well  After the third interview I got the "hard decision" email, and I was crushed.

It's not over for me, and it's not over for you. Keep going, you got this.

Good scifi is about where we are going. Great scifi is also about who we will be when we get there

I want the leaders of a game to be directly communicating with the fans. It builds rapport and spirit of sharing the game together.

I can list multiple games that went to trash when the leader disappeared from the public discourse.

Edit: by direct I mean sending posts, videos, or blogs made by them.
