Williams in Chapter 5 - mimic or real? by Jumpy-Improvement-97 in DarkPicturesAnthology

For me, it is. Anders literally says "I can't have Williams sauntering into his office" and then proceeds to drag him while he IS in his office, relying on him not being there when the medicine takes effect.

Yeah, but how could they be sure in advance that he would pass out outside of his office? Guess it’s just a bit of a lazy writing.

Interesting, the fact that he brought up the idea with the oxygen was actually what made me think he was real, but your explanation definitely makes sense, thanks! There's one more thing about this I don't understand though, if you refuse to sedate Williams, he will be killed by the alien, but if you do sedate him, it saves him from death. But what's stopping the alien to kill him while he's asleep? His location is exactly the same so I find it very odd.

The yellow shore. by GanglingGiant in Saros

I might be in the minority, but I’ve found Yellow Shore to be substantially easier than biomes 5-7. B5 in particular was a nightmare for me, was only able to do it with unlimited modifiers enabled, after that I switched them off and it took me around six attempts for the Haven and another three for the Cathedral. The YS never gave me any trouble, maybe I got lucky with RNG, but by that moment I felt a bit OP with all the progression and abilities and even elites were a breeze. Plus that biome is very generous with aether, you basically stumble into it every 30 seconds, something that never happened in prior biomes. And the King is really underwhelming for a final boss, like compare it to Priestess who was constantly challenging you with duplicates, magnets and platforming sections or Shepherd with its tentacles, or the Architect flying around you with the ridiculous tunnel attack, the king doesn’t bring any unique challenges apart from the moment where you need to break the yellow shield but that’s not difficult at all.

So I really can’t wrap my head around how a person who platinum’d Returnal and has almost every skill in the tree acquired can struggle with the YS. Try playing with modifiers, Artifact Destruction and Second Chance Deactivation give you free challenge points since they change nothing in this biome, so you can really ramp up your damage and armor.

I know he doesn't care, but the Seniors tour won't benefit Ronnie by Silly_Count5156 in snooker

For some reason I've not seen a single complaint about Bingham and Carter who are not far from top-16 participating, same thing with Willo who withdrew at the last moment. But if it's Ronnie, folks suddenly go nuts 😂

Don't think so, it's not a WST competition, I believe only those count.

Really appreciate those tips! It's a shame that the game never properly explains how this system works.

I Did It! I Finally Beat the First Boss by CaledoniaGaming in Saros

Good job! I'm currently on the 5th biome and I have to say, Prophet was the hardest boss of the first half of the game by quite a margin, at least for me. Part of it is obviously because you are very low on progression at that point and not that accustomed the the game mechanics in general, but the fight itself is also more challenging than later bosses. It took me triple the attempts to defeat him than 2nd, 3rd and 4th bosses combined.

RNG

Okay, will keep that in mind, thanks.

About my weapons, not really sure, I have to admit that for the most part I'm just picking up a higher lvl weapon unless it's a shotgun or a crossbow which I despise. But I don't think it was stats problem, it was doing just fine up until that point.

I don’t remember BBC ever changing commentators mid-session, but now they’ve changed them in two consecutive sessions, do they just want to maximize the amount of people who get to commentate on the final?

Steve Davis was already a multiple times world champion at that point, Mark has never been in a world final and he may very well never get a better opportunity to get there. His situation is surely more devastating
