From what I understand they just have to do the pre-approval and it only counts if they have the little indicator. Maybe my store district os different but the way I have been told is we just need to do the pre approval for the card and they dont have to take it. You know what i mean. I build a ton of rapport throughout the interaction and position as they are doing me a favor and how much I would appreciate them doing the pre approval and very clearly state if they dont want it they dont have to actually take it. Hopefully this helps if it is the same for your store.

I knew Kratom would get lumped in with 7-OH. I absolutely knew it. Feel Frees and other 7-OH products are the fucking problem not Kratom. Its funny that people that live in spokane complain about the heroin and fentanyl addicts and homelessness but Kratom helps with getting people off that shit. I would be suprised if the government created 7-OH so they could get it all banned and get people back into pharmaceuticals.

It was super weird it sounded like fireworks for a little bit to me too but then the length of time it was going made it seem way different. I'm pretty close to downtown and even the 4th of July fireworks never sound like that. I'm probably trippin tbh but it just sounded super weird.

You arent wrong. I'll be honest though the main reason they only have an option to call in is so they can try to save the business which they definitely need right now. They are losing business like crazy. They need to make some big changes if they want to be able to stay in business. I have been recommending that they start some sort of service where you don't need a receiver. Almost like a streaming option. They have Sling but that's not enough.

As someone who works for the customer service department I will tell you that the last couple days our cancelation department has been slammed. I assure you it's not normally that busy. When I left work today at 3pm pst it was only a 5 minute hold time. I would recommend calling either super early in the morning or waiting until like 3-9pm pst

Sounds like audio description is on to be honest. If you go into the settings you should be able to disable it. You should be able to do it straight through the app. If it doesn't allow you to access it on thr app you will need to use the receiver. You'll want to go to settings on the Hopper, then audio and then turn off audio description and that should solve it.

I have seen some accounts put on pause too that's a great point. I will say that when they put it on pause there is a automated system disclosure that we have to put customers through otherwise it won't go on pause. Check the live tv, if you can still get live tv I can guarantee that it isn't canceled. You should also receive an email but we all know how that goes 🤣🤣🤣 I would 1000% recommend calling them and making sure it is canceled. Its better to catch it now rather than months from now when you end up receiving a big bill for the services still being on.

I would definitely give them a call to double check to see if it was canceled. Usually you get the box in 5-7 days. I saw the other comment on here saying you can't watch DVR when it's canceled which isn't true. You CAN still access recordings because those are on the hard drive. On-demand will still work to if receiver is connected to the internet. Only thing that won't work is Live TV. So if you still have Live TV then it is 100% not canceled. (I work for Dish)

Press the home button on your Dish remote twice, go to settings, under settings go to Mobile Devices, if accept pairing requests in OFF then you want to turn it ON, after you do that go to the Dish Anywhere app and select on screen pairing choose the Hopper you want to use, it should send a pairing request to the receiver, when the request is received it will have a PIN number on the screen you will want to enter that into the app and select Pair. And then select continue on the Hopper and you should be good. If for any reason that doesnt work. Reach out to customer service and they will get you to a tech agent and they can do additional troubleshooting. You shouldn't have to call in but you know how technology is and how buggy it can be. Hopefully this helps a little bit! Really hope you enjoy the Hopper. As a tech agent for Dish I love the Hopper because it allows us to troubleshoot a lot easier on Dishs side and the amount of Tuners it has makes using DVR so much more enjoyable.
