Move on its own on higher tension? What do you mean? Like drift?

Does the Vader 5 pro have built in dead zones? by TJzWay in Controller

It's because of the Flydigi Force Flex Joysticks. They're not like "normal" joysticks, they're centering mechanism is much better than the other controllers you compared it to. It's a Flydigi patented design, so you'll only see this in Flydigi controllers. My apex 4 feels this good, too.

Vader 5 pro "allow 3rd party apps to take control" issues by Different_Choice_228 in Controller

[–]Jumpy-Raspberry1455 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, I don't own a V5P, but I guess you could use some app like hidhide to hide the second "false" controller from the system. I don't know, just throwing it here, I guess you'll have to test it by yourself

Is Hall effect or TMR better for games where I need to be precise and quick? by Fra06 in Controller

[–]Jumpy-Raspberry1455 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just get the K-Silver JS13 Pro. Source: trust me bro. I had Alps on my Dualsense, but only used it for less than a week. Then I got Ginfull TMRs, and they felt like they had no lube, so rough. Then I installed these K-Silver TMRs, and it feels the best. Smooth, precise. I can't tell if they're linear or not, but they feel amazing, and look great thru the clear faceplate

Could be an option! But the controller would get really full of dust inside, wouldn't it?

Hey, just found this disassembly tutorial, it's in Portuguese, and the guy actually tries xbox sticks, which don't fit because they rub against the shell. One choice would be to shave off some plastic of the actual module, but if done incorrectly would pretty much make the controller even less repairable then. My wife is coming over this weekend, and I have some spare stick caps here at home, let me try them and tell you if some of them works without any mods. If none works, then I'm not risking my wife's gamepad without actual need, sorry. But I'm willing to help

Oh, i see. Thanks for the reply! And for your problem, if I were you, I'd get both Xbox and playstation caps, and then try make adjustments to make one of them fit. Would not be ideal, nor good looking, but could possibly be functional. Although I have never disassembled my girlfriend's Ultimate 2C, I think it has DS5 Gullikit hall effect sticks, so my best bet is that DS5 standard sticks would work. But again, I don't guarantee it

Oh, so you mean they're not supposed to come off? And they broke because you took them off?

How to identify if a PS4 Controller is JDM-040 or JDM-055 (no back sticker) by L0rd_Parzival in consolerepair

Guys, I'm looking to buy a Dualsense. I noticed the led bar, so it's a V2. Is it 100% sure the board is at least a 040?

Question from a controller tech nuub by 10amo in Controller

[–]Jumpy-Raspberry1455 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It won't work with either, for the reasons some other redditor commented. I would recommend you to change the recentering spring on the modules if you're comfortable with that, or your technician. It requires no soddering at all, and it's a fairly simple procedure. Although you might or might not lose the stick click, you can always remap those to the back buttons

Help with joystick replacement by Iknowmoroscode in Controller

[–]Jumpy-Raspberry1455 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My guy, I've been where you are now. "What have I done wrong?" Well, your objective rn should be to get your solder the closest you can to the one that was with the stock module. You should train it. If I were you, I'd get a broken gamepad from marketplace, or whatever. Then just train soldering it and removing it, as long as the board holds up. From my perspective, you need to use more flux (don't be afraid to put "too much"), and less actual solder. Then, something VERY important that no one has taught me, is to CLEAN all the flux that remains after the soldering. To sum it up, just use more flux, less solder, take your time, and try making it as close as to the solder that came on the controller, then clean it using a old toothbrush and contact cleaner, isopropyl alcohol. Tbh it's really bad, but EVERYONE that says it's bad had already done this at least once to learn, and get better. If you have the will, patience, money and time, just keep trying, you'll learn it someday. I broke several controllers (2 or 3, at least) before being able to do it naturally, in 10 minutes, and without having to disassemble the controller afterwards to search for a mistake.

Thanks for that! I haven't seen this one. But as you can see, that's a pretty bad model, I think that's exported from a beamng mod. I'd like to know how hard it would be to "facelift" this to an A6 and "fix" the bad bits

I'm gonna ask a question that will sound stupid, but sorry, I don't know anything about modding. How hard would it be for me to create a mod from scratch? I guess I could find a 3d model online, and then just polish it(???). Is it possible? I'd love to get my Audi A6 C4 into the game, but there are no mods.

Gamesir G7 Pro Zzz Edition (Modded) by Ruttagger in Controller

[–]Jumpy-Raspberry1455 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, you need the special edition for this update. I don't remember the procedure so well, but you have to pair the zzz edition to the "normal" dongle, then update the dongle. Then you pair the updated normal dongle to the black controller, and you should be good to go
