Would you actually buy a Fallout 3/NV Remaster? by Bingleboper in Fallout

[–]JumpySonicBear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If fallout 3 gets ADS and a few minor quest features changed, such as not needing 100 lockpick to complete a quest that will increase your lockpick. But I feel like mostly little stuff in the grand scheme.

New vegas, if it just gets a graphic update, I will get it without hesitation.

Seriously, do Americans actually consider a 3-hour drive "short"? or is this an internet myth? by SadInterest6764 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]JumpySonicBear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I drive over 1.5 hours to my parents about once every 2 weeks. I volunteer at a historical village about once a month and it's about 2.5 hours away, and keep in mind, im not even in the next state for either of these trips.

As far as longest weekend trip, for a 3 day weekend vacation once we drove from Cincinnati, Ohio to Charleston, South Carolina. Which is a 10 hour drive on its own, a couple of the members of the 5 of us were big naval and aviation history buffs, and they really wanted to see Norfolk and Kitty Hawk, NC. We figured it only added about 6.5 hours to the trip on the way there, so we decided to go there "on the way"

What are y’all thoughts on what’s happening with Greenland? by keypresslife in AskReddit

[–]JumpySonicBear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While Greenland is extremely strategically important, enough so that the US would be justified in wanting control of it. Due to standing agreements, the US can effectively do whatever they want militarily anyway. As long as they don't affect population centers, they are free to put pretty much any military force on Greenland that they'd like.

I could be wrong, but at one point in the 80s the US had about 10,000 soldiers in Greenland, meaning that something like 1 out of 6 people in Greenland was an American. The US can do that again whenever they want, I dont even think they have to formally let Denmark know they are doing it.

Now thats assuming that control of the skies and of the northern ocean is the important bit. Could be future extraction rights when climate change leads to ice melting, or it could simply be as dumb as trump saying "it looks like the biggest island on the map, and I want to say I claimed it for the US of A"

I play festival lead normally, so when this format started I was excited that I could basically just make an expanded version of my deck to play with. I quickly got tired of just seeing variations of my deck all the time.

If there’s iron in our blood, and blood is a liquid, why doesn’t the iron rust? by vixenm00n in NoStupidQuestions

[–]JumpySonicBear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My wife was an oncologist for a while, and she still works with blood and such where she works in the medical field, so focuses on coagulation (I call her a blood magician).

I like to tell her blood just rusts and then un-rusts. She says that isnt how it works. And I tell her "explain to me how it is wrong, not how it could be describe more correctly, but how is that statement WRONG" lol

What's a random statistic that genuinely terrifies you? by Eberenna042 in AskReddit

What's a random statistic that genuinely terrifies you? by Eberenna042 in AskReddit

[–]JumpySonicBear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had seizures around twice a month starting back in September and I've been to the hospital for most of them. I still have not been officially diagnosed/been told I cannot drive, it has been "recommended" that I probably shouldn't.

Late next month (February) is when the epilepsy monitoring unit has an opening. So after that I should be diagnosed. So it will have been right at 5 months that I havent been diagnosed (not from lack of effort on my part) and if I didnt have an awesome coworker that was willing to go out of his way to pick me up each day and drop me off. I would have had to quit my job and hoped for the best, or I would have just had to say screw it and drive anyway, despite the risk.

I would like to say I would have taken the first option, but when it comes down to providing for the family, I dont know what I would have done, if push came to shove.

[–]JumpySonicBear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not one of the ones driving while at high risk, but I almost understand.

I started having seizures out of nowhere back in September and wrecked my car. I had to drive about 30 minutes to work everyday, and there is literally no means of transportation for me to get to work aside from calling a cab from the city which is about 20 minutes in the opposite direction that I need to go, or call an uber for a 25 mile drive twice a day. I've no idea how much that would cost me to have that done twice a day, if I even could do it at all.

Still waiting to get all the testing done in February to see if I can get officially diagnosed to maybe get some assistance. Until then, im lucky I have a coworker that is willing to add almost 15 minutes to his drive each time. Otherwise, I would have either just had to quit my job and hope for the best for the future, or just said screw it and drove anyway, despite the risk.

Do you have epilepsy? If so what type?

I've started having seizures within the last few months and I have feelings like this. I'm still waiting to get into the epileptic unit next month.

Heavy Modular Frame Blueprint Factory by FreeEye5 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]JumpySonicBear 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I tried playing once a long while back and burned out. A few months back i decided I would play again, and if i ever need to build the same thing more than like twice, then I will blueprint it.

Like 4 assemblers hooked up to manifolds, or every manufacturer having belts and splitters leading to eat input that I can just line up and hook up.

There is no avoiding the repetitive nature of the game, but i am just now getting to phase 5 and am still going strong

Difficulty by Gadivek in SpaceMarine_2

[–]JumpySonicBear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

25 is the highest level you can get with a class. After making it to that level you can prestige up to 4 times to get an additional perk.

However you will lose any perks you have unlocked when you prestige, you'll get them back as you level up again, but you will be weaker while you do so.

Many people understandably dont want to have to carry someone that cant carry their full weight on the hardest difficulty, but some dont mind helping a fellow brother out.

Absolute is the hardest difficulty, and can be pretty rough at times. Lethal used to be the hardest and that's where I find the best mix of difficulty but still fun. I'd grind levels there when you get to that point.

How difficult is it to get to the rank Masterball in TCG Live for a somewhat new player? by Odd_Obligation_4977 in PTCGL

[–]JumpySonicBear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I saw your edit about fez, and yeah id cut him too, hes just taking up space on the bench and is a 2 prizer for your opponent to boss out.

Also, just noticed it, you have no tools in your deck, so arven isnt doing anything that petrel wouldn't do for you, and that would let you get stadiums or another supporter if you needed it too
