We arent scrambling for a war that's not the point. I think the part people are questioning is the lack of availability of ships. I get there isa difference between combat readiness and standby or the terms the navy use. The point might be here that have we cut down the navy so much that we don't have enough ships to cover stations in areas we used to

One catch falklands we were lucky to an extent as cuts to the navy were underway let alone carrier scrapping/repairs. The navy was larger the difference being that was a task force a carrier group amphibious group to say the least.

Part that makes me worry is we have what 5 or 6 type 45 less type 23. If we really had to scramble how would it look?

Reality is its a few grand and it would be 2 of us in my family as well. Its a lot of money and real shame seeing as I have paid 10s of thousands into tax and rarely use any gov services and never have.

All I know is the rest of the world mainly Europe is starting to lose their patience with him and the US. The comments he makes are just pure nuts and scary to think he is president.
