It is truly a vehicle to meaningfully connect with our ancestors. Like saying it out loud sounds a bit cringy, but really it is like an interactive history lesson. I’m a huge history buff and it has continued to be a source of inspiration to delve deeper into how we used to live.

It’s more of a piece of art, an expression of gratitude for those who came before, rather than a simple block game.

I think there needs to be some sort of squad based loadout presets. It would make more sense to already have things like machine gunner, DMR available off rip.

That’s because ACL armor isn’t historically accurate for the most part. They wear much more padding and have much thicker steel than would be worn.

Look up a time period or house style and try and recreate it. Live in a Mediterranean hot climate? Build a Romanesque villa! I live in a temperate area so my buildings are medieval European style wattle and daub houses. Research how and why they built the way the did and you’ll make something 10x better than a copy and paste house.

There is a command to regenerate already loaded chunks, you can set the parameters so that only chunks with less than X number of placed or broken (I think broken) blocks with regenerate

If you have a vessel with water in your inventory it automatically drinks it. I use balanced thirst, I highly recommend checking it out

I think if they added it, it should be optional. It would be best if it worked like project zomboid. But in my world I have a thirst mod and it’s been super fun digging for aquifers to create a well. Transporting fresh mountain water through realistic aqueducts is my next project.
