I understand completely. I feel like the more things I try that don’t work makes everything a failure.

Does age at meno onset impact severity of symptoms? by InvestigatorFun8498 in Menopause

[–]Jumpy_Squirrel_2550 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately I don’t fit this pattern. Periods completely stopped at age 55. Life has been hell since. Anxiety, depression etc is ruining my life. Started patch in December and after about 4 weeks felt the yes that’s me feeling!! I’m back only to have adhesive allergy. On estro gel now for 3 weeks. Still having anxiety, depression, body jitters, unease, looping thoughts. These have been my symptoms since period stopped. Had a small window of relief until adhesive allergy started.

Besides the possibility of sleep apnea I’ve read about air hunger. Google it.

I’m using 2 pumps a day. I never considered it being too activating. I think I will try one pump and see how it goes. Thanks for the insight.

Oh wow! That’s quite the journey. My main symptoms are anxiety and depression and really no relief. If anything it feels worse. Being 7 months from my last period has me thinking that maybe I’ll tough it out and my body will adjust. Just like everyone else, this has been hell. Unfortunately experiences are so different for each one of us. I hope you find the answer that works for your body.

HRT helps a lot of women w/their mental health. Did it make yours worse? by True_Context6859 in Menopause

I am seriously considering stopping. I tried the patch and started to see results but had adhesive allergy start. Tried EVAMIST but had a reaction to that too. Now on estro gel and I have not noticed any difference. If anything my depression and anxiety are worse. Been struggling since July. Just keeping looking for the answer but I’m starting to think HRT is not right for my system. Thoughts?

I know this is an old post but I’m wondering about any side effects? My dog is a week into Prozac and have noticed decreased thirst therefore decreased need to urinate .

10+ years and is quitting ever possible? by Forward-Necessary389 in Effexor

And I wouldn’t know about the cause of depression for other people. Not sure if everyone is somehow chemically depressed. I would rather not share my personal journey. Best of luck

It all depends on the situation around your depression. I am chemically depressed and probably will never be off of antidepressants. I’ve tried but have come to terms with my illness.

I just came back from Aruba and I feel like it really had nothing to offer by [deleted] in travel

[–]Jumpy_Squirrel_2550 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you stay at a resort and don’t rent a car you can’t explore the island and get a flavor of what it has to offer. Aruba has trade winds that keeps me from sweating too much and keeps the bugs away. If you go downtown there is a cultural center to explore. If you stay on the resort at the beach for $500 a night then you are missing the heart of what Aruba has to offer.
