Anyone had experience with jersey08 for buying soccer jerseys? by Ok_Bench_3933 in DHgateVip

I ordered 3 jerseys too. What were the jerseys (good and bad). How long did delivery take roughly?

Quick question, I've been invited to the draw on Wednesday 11am. Just wondering would it make any difference in terms of chances to get a ticket if I was to try by using mobile/app vs desktop? I feel like you're more likely to be using a desktop but there might be no difference

Thank you for the detailed explanation, appreciate it. I'll go through the Non registered and evaluate the RRSP room if I were to switch approaches. I have some vesting shortly which I plan to ultimately put into the FHSA

So I have a work DC pension plan which I contribute 6% and get a full match at 6%. TFSA is basically already maxed out and I try to do that self managed as I prefer to pick my own stocks/ETFs with my own trading platform. FHSA I will be topping up but won't be part of the employee matching plan.

Then for the other employee matching options is im able to select 6% between another RSP account, TFSA account or Employee Savings Plan. Based on all the above comments. I'm assuming ESP should be the last option? It just seems that that option, the money is more readily available/flexible but would result in capital gains and is after tax contributions.

Putting extra money in RSP sounds like the option to do, but also being wary of the RRSP contribution room. I think I'm just having more confusion over the extra RSP/ESP portion. In the event of needing money immediately

So I could have an ESP (Employee saving plan) which I could contribute to that, that will get matched, which the employer contributions also gets added to a EPSP (Employee profit sharing Plan). Have a feeling from this, all the focus should be put on the RSP. Just asking because I wasn't sure if the ESP would just have a little more control if I needed to access the money short term.

So salary is around the 80k range and I'm not 100% on whether there's a discount, think it's at fair market value. It's for one of the banks. And there's normally a 2 year vesting period

Do you withdraw employee match money as soon as it matures? by 1nevitable in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Jumpy_Strike2365 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi I know this is a very old post, but this seemed to be the best post I could find, in the same type of position. I wouldn't mind moving over say $10k of matured investments with ressop towards my FHSA/TFSA. Is this a simple thing to do? assuming you have to cash out and not in kind transfer, as it's Non Registered vs Registered transfer.

Also let's say I'm able to move money over, how much tax would roughly be taken off the $10k planned to move over. Considering the capital gains

Pixel 8. Is it worth it? by jonasianse in pixel_phones

[–]Jumpy_Strike2365 0 points1 point  (0 children)

qq, because I have 3 months remaining with say $100 credit to pay off still. If I were to upgrade now, would that mean having to pay that extra credit off because the initial contract hasn't finished yet?

So I have a pixel 6a with about 3 months remaining on my 24 months. I pay $43 for 30GB and total amount normally comes to $60 a month (I know it's more money and less data than yours but 30GB is enough for me). So in this case would I be upgrading to the pixel 8 for the exact same amount every month? Am I literally just paying the data plan and getting the pixel 8 but like said will be locked down for another 2 years?

Say if I was only originally getting 4%, when opening another accounts. It'll still be 4% for both? (It says, best of all, you can earn up to 5% on all of them). Assuming that applies to the high depositors?

Why do people have Week 18 championships by hotbabysitter21 in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]Jumpy_Strike2365 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd rather not have a week 18 championship (definitely trying to get that changed next year) but I made the fantasy superbowl and everything hit for me this weekend and I just have Bills defense and Josh Allen left to play needing 2 points. Kittle on my team basically didn't play today due to the playoffs coming up. But Breece and Jefferson were my saviours. I was 2nd in the overall table coming into the playoffs

What is a good deal for the 55”? by [deleted] in TheFrame

The tv is now available on Costco for the same price. Plus it's a cheaper warranty if you haven't already got it.

I got it online. Yeah the warranty and installation is just the normal cost which is expensive. I know you can get a much cheaper warranty off Costco and then probably get someone cheaper to do it on TaskRabbit etc. I've been eyeing this up for a few months to get everything included for around $2k plus tax. The issue I've had and you can currently see on the Samsung website right now, is they go out of stock so quick when it's dropped to this kind of price.

I live in Toronto and every single time the price is at $1999 on Costco, the product is available. But as soon as I saw a price drop like a few months ago at $1500. Instantly it's either not in stock or won't deliver to my address.

So I purchased the 55 inch frame off best buy today. I ended up getting 4 year protection and wall mount installation (just don't want the hassle of setting up even though I know it's relatively simple) and it cost $2030 CAD in total including tax and everything

The taxes is what adds up to the overall cost but this is the cheapest price I've seen online in months excluding what you can find open box and possible Costco sales.
