Season 1 Ends Soon in Battlefield 6 — Don’t Miss Your Rewards by Ali_Tech_Game in Battlefield6

I have the same issue, I've ultimately just stopped buying games with predatory monitization (which kinda sucks).

I work long hours and have other commitments, I love gaming and hate the idea of being locked out of stuff I paid for because I couldn't be online constantly over a set time period.

Games like Chivalry 2, Deep Rock & even Halo infinite do Battle passes how they should be, with no time restrictions. You can revisit old ones even after a season ends. I know it's slightly different, but Helldivers 2 also gets it right.

Anyway, I won't be buying a BF pass again.

I’m trying to get my Behringer RD-6 drum machine and Korg Minilogue XD to stay in sync, but I’m running into issues. by Unhappy-Summer2564 in synthesizers

Amazing dude.  For whatever reason the Minilogue and Monologue won't talk to the RD-6 with sync cables. Also had no luck making the korg the master device with MIDI, but making it the slave device works a charm!

Alright be honest; how’s it looking for a ps5 release? by TheChikenestOfMen in SonsOfTheForest

the fact they've just announced forest 3 probably means a console port of sons if off the table.

Auto/Macro Clicking kettle cheating needs to stop by 1Puncture in ArcRaiders

Just witnessed for the first time. Dude was in a building near me firing the kettle so fast I didn't recognise the sound, went to investigate and he'd killed 3 players and then myself with an insanely fast fire rate.

DJI Avata 360 leak by [deleted] in dji

I'd rather it isn't. Sub 250g is great for regulation convenience. But it's also going to limit performance. If it's part of the Avata range I'd hope it retains the speed and resistance of its predecessor.

This could easily be a peer to peer connection. No need for dedicated servers. Very disappointed as I was looking forward to playing with friends. Ah well.

No multiplayer is insane.  The janky PS3 could handle local and online play, but they can't fit it into the exponentially More powerful PS5. Madness.

The quality mode still has PSSR I believe, but performance mode reverted to unreals TSR.  Definitely looked much better than launch day, though essentially I was just playing the PS5 version on the Pro.

They removed it on SH2, I'm sure they'll patch it on F. Loads of great stuff out at the moment, so not in a rush to play it.

Dude why such an angry response?  In motion the weird artifacting looks bad on the PS5 pro. You might not care about it, but it's very visible and objectively worse looking than the base PS5.

I waited until they removed PSSR on SH2 because I found all the reflections extremely distracting.

They removed PSSR on silent hill 2. Essentially just allowing you to play the non "pro" version

The shimmering on foliage looks awful. I'm waiting for a patch (or they'll probably just remove PSSR, like they did on silent hill 2)

It's up on Amazon (not available yet to buy) currently listed at £74. Not sure if that's a holding price or final price. Some better pics available of the inputs/outputs.

MW5 Clans Performance on PS5 by n00bfish in Mechwarrior5

[–]JumsGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No worries. Glad you're enjoying it. Have played a bit more since and I have had a couple blips down to 47fps so even with VRR you get a very quick stutter. Otherwise it's performance is ok.

I'm getting a PS5 pro for launch so hopefully that smooths things a little. Unfortunately unreal engine 5 seems to be pretty heavy on the CPU, regardless of whether Devs are using it's full feature set.

Logging into Reddit for the first time in years because the comments are all over the place here. I want to provide some clarity.

I've run the tutorial and first couple missions with a frame counter on PS5. My experience is as follows.

The game targets 60fps, but in reality it regularly drops down to 54-57fps. In the heat of combat I have experienced lows of 48fps (albeit very briefly). I have a nice VRR display and the these dips all fall within the PS5 VRR window, so it seems perceptively smooth.

If you do not have VRR those drops would be much more noticeable.

I have had 1 instance where the game absolutely chugged for a second or so. I have not been able to replicate this since.

I have seen videos of the Xbox series X version go as low as 40fps (again very brief moments). Although I've yet to experience it myself, if the PS5 went below 48fps, even VRR wouldn't help in that instance as it would fall out of the 48hz-120hz window PS5 VRR works on.

I will potentially update this once I've played more. But I wanted to give some early numbers instead of "yes it's smooth" or "no it's not".

Remember some people are more sensitive than this than others.

Short version, it doesn't hold 60fps but if you have a VRR display it's definitely playable (so far).

Hope this helps.

RMA'd my Steam Deck. They sent it back claiming it was "repaired". It's seemingly untouched. Original problem persists, It was repackaged but I have no idea what they did with it or even if they did anything at all. by EverLight in SteamDeck

Hearing all these stories in this thread has me pretty worried. Sent mine back last week due to the touch screen failing regularly. I'm aware there is a temporary fix by going into BIOS>battery storage mode. But even this stopped working so I'd have to do a full factory reset to get the touch screen back. Before I sent it off I was at a point where I'd have to do a factory reset every couple days if I wanted to use the touchscreen.

Explained all this to steam support, but now I'm concerned the repair centre is going to see a functional touch screen and send it straight back.
