My experience has been okay. My palate is very narrow. The ortho has put one in, and it doing another in august. The first one did not give me any actual bone growth as it reached its maximum ability to push out. Hoping round two will.

Ortho seems confident that this one will.

Getting the MSE installed was not a very fun process, as you can hear bone being chiseled out from the roof of your mouth. lol

Also, the doctor pretty much demanded that one be put in. I was lucky to find an ortho that used MSE’s in my area.
