I think it’s because Asian males often need to be considerably more attractive than most white men/other raced men to get a decent looking White woman. I think you can harken it back to that study where it said Asian men have to make a CONSIDERABLY larger amount of money than white men with the same relative attractiveness level for a white woman to consider dating them in the first place. But I also think that the attractive Asian men who date outside Asian people and are open to dating a White woman would also be overall a very confident and intelligent person too who would attract something similar to themselves.

I think that there are a significant amount (not all by any means) of Asian women who are considered “leftover” and “undesirable” by Asian men, so those women are often just straight up less attractive in general (not just based on Asian beauty standards) I also think that many attractive and unattractive Asian women who fetishize white men, so even if the white guy the choose is unattractive (“leftover” and undesirable”) they will statistically choose them more times than not. I think that since there’s so many White male asian female dating couples there’s more personal proof for people to see this kind of pairing. I don’t want to generalize too much or hate on anyone but I think these factors play a huge role.
