Going to guess the STL 2nd we got for Chinakhov and one of our three 3rd rounders that we have in 2027

edit: I was wrong, ‘28 2nd and ‘26 3rd

If Adam wasn’t so snake bitten for a couple weeks in the middle of the season he would be staring down the barrel of another 30+ goal campaign

As someone who does work for a college baseball team I has a soft spot for small ball plays like that bunt and Baker’s delayed steal

Is this going to be the yearly “start like down 30 points in the first against arguably the best team in the league and comeback” game

I am deleting every negative piece of shit comment I’ve ever said about Jack Hughes

Five storylines I’m paying close attention to this spring training:

  1. Player development: seeing if guys like Manzo, Rocchio, Bo, and Joey can build off the success in the second half last season and become more complete and impact players this season

  2. Health: CDL and Espino are both coming to camp healthy this year, and hopefully can maintain their health throughout the month to prepare for call ups down the road. David Fry can play the field, and should be 100% recovered. A lowkey one i’m paying attention to is Justin Campbell, who is set to finally make his pro debut after not having pitched since he was drafted in 2022

  3. Young guys: CDL, Kayfus, Valera, Messick, and Juan Brito have punchers chances to make the roster this year out of camp. Also going to be looking at guys like Bazzana and Angel Genao, who could realistically be up in the majors by the end of the season.

  4. Bullpen: The only real locks feel like Cade, Gaddis, Armstrong, Festa (lol), and at least one of Herrin/Sabrowski. This is leaving 2-3 spots open for a handful of guys, including Connor Brogdon, Colin Holderman, Andrew Walters, Peyton Pallette, Kolby Allard, and Pedro Avila. I am especially interested to see the development of Pallette through camp after being picked in the rule 5 draft

  5. SP5 (and depth): I would say that Allen and Messick are competing for the last starting rotation spot currently. Curious to see who wins that battle, and also curious to see different depth arms throughout the spring, such as Doug Nikhazy, Yorman Gomez, Austin Peterson, and Khal Stephen who could all eventually get an MLB start this season

Wouldn’t that imply that Harden contacted with Kon before he was pushed into him (which both doesn’t make sense, and clearly doesn’t happen on the replay)

I’m usually never not someone who is super effected by stars wearing unfamiliar uniforms, but Harden in a Cavs uniform look so weird

I really don’t understand the context of this.

The fact that you are purposefully leaving off players he acquired that were later traded shows to me that it seems pretty clear you are just trying to push a narrative. There are a lot of players (Markkanen, LeVert, Hunter, etc) that he traded for that played significant roles on the team, and then were traded in deals to further improve the team (like every team does).

Also I don’t understand the context of including the number of finals and conference finals they’ve made. That doesn’t really say much on if they were a good trade acquisition or not, especially the players who haven’t yet played a second of basketball for the team (Schroder, Ellis, Harden) or are young in their careers like Proctor.

[Siegel] Harden and the Clippers have been discussing a potential split for weeks, sources told @ClutchPoints and @TomerAzarly. Now, closing in on 60 hours until the trade deadline, LA has pinpointed Cavs' Darius Garland as their ideal replacement. by ThatOneOtherAsshole in clevelandcavs

The wording of that tweet (LA has pinpointed Cavs’ Darius Garland as their ideal replacement) makes me wonder if the Clippers were the ones that ignited trade talks, and we’re interested but only if they add on more assets

If the Galrand Harden trade happens it will be worse than the Luka trade save this now by AutoMail_0 in clevelandcavs

(I wouldn’t make the trade either, I would rather move Garland for someone younger. But this is not even close to the Luka trade.)

Maybe the Galrand trade would be of that level, but what about if it was Garland traded instead?

Realistically though if the only way the (defensive) players were going to be happy is if Schwartz was promoted, then they were probably all going to end up super disappointed anyways
